This was a good review, I am an audio enthusiast, I do own some Fosi audio products, SK02, V3, and P1, V3 is connected to two klipsch reference towers ( can't remember the model number ) but it they have two 8 inch woofers and a horn tweeter up top. Rated 150w RMS each. And they sound great, I also have the M audio BX8 D2 studio monitors. 2 sets of sennheiser headphones of which one is open backed. And just recently bought the KZ ZS10 pro IEM's and I was pleasantly surprised by their quality. This video of yours just popped up in my feed and I am glad it did, the way you setup and perform is really well. You deserve a lot more subscribers. Keep up the good work

Thank you very much for your kind words! It's fantastic to hear that you enjoyed the review and that you share the same passion for audio. Your collection of Fosi Audio products and other audio gear sounds impressive indeed. I truly appreciate your encouragement and support. I'm thrilled that you stumbled upon my video, and your feedback means a lot to me. Once again, thank you, and I hope you have a fantastic day!

Good review Yuri! I have these in mono with two 48v power supplies. I found them OK on my Fyne's and Zu's, where the ZA3's really shine are on my Magnepans, I find the detail and soundstage to be incredibly good. There is something about Class D amps and Maggies that my Class A/B simply cannot pull off. Thanks for the review.

@michaelwright1602 Thanks, glad you enjoyed the review! That’s awesome to hear how well they perform with your Magnepans. It’s great to see how different setups can bring out the best in different speakers!

Fosi XLR inputs just add another active stage using an op-amp. I would use RCA inputs if one wanted purer signal path.

Thanks for sharing your perspective, @drjlo1! It's interesting to consider the impact of using XLR inputs versus RCA inputs on signal purity. Each has its own merits depending on the setup and personal preferences. Some may prefer the balanced connection of XLR for noise reduction, while others prioritize simplicity and signal integrity with RCA.

You probably have already heard to, try adding Sparkos op-amps in your Z3's and see.

the problem with the ZA3 is that its impedance reactive so the output changes the FR depending on the impedance of the speaker used.. so some speakers will sound brighter than they should... Fosi fixed that issue with the V3 mono that has the proper output filters.... with the V3 mono you can also use the Hifiman speaker amp adapter and those amps work perfectly with a set of headphones.... they are getting ready to release a new DAC for use on the V3 mono amps too...

    Nice video, Yuri.
    I have 1x ZA3 and 2nd on order.
I have them in my bigger system and as backup to my many vintage receivers.

there is no reason to get the ZA3 anymore, want stereo go with the V3 it just sounds better, want mono blocks? get V3 monos then.

What's the benefit to use the XLR cable on one end the the other end is a single ended or rather the 3.5 headphone output from your player ?

In the Mono mode could one hook up a power supply to each unit making it using two power supplies for ... well ... even more power?

I have two, but I use an active crossover to bi-amp the system. One ZA3 does the mids and highs. One does the bass drivers. It sounds good to me.

I'm thinking of doing the same, with either 2 ZA3 or 4 V3 Monos. How do you control the volume using dual ZA3s?

Than you for the very good review.
Using only one amplifier might be the best way because it seems that there is no significant difference in using two.
To improve the audio sound test I would like to suggest using some classic music with a big orchestra and a 24BIT High Definition audio files for a better evidence of the separation of the instruments but it was already very interesting your review.

    • @YuriBrus
      @YuriBrus  5 месяцев назад +1

Thank you for your kind words and valuable feedback, I appreciate your suggestion to incorporate classic music with a big orchestra for future sound tests. It's a great idea for showcasing the separation of instruments and further enhancing the review experience. I'm glad you found the review interesting, and I'll definitely keep your suggestions in mind for future content. Thanks again for watching!

It wasn't even a Fosi nor a Aiyima and the NAD could not justify its price.
