The fight is divided in 2 parts. 1st is this, it was good even in the LN as Makoto and Sophia were more unhinged but it went the same way as in the anime with the difference that the Throne room was obliterated and you could see the mountains. Part 1 was good but it was more Makoto being sarcastic and belittling the demons. Having said that, part 2 is where the real action happens. After Shiki wins Sophia wins the bet she mentioned on season 1 and when that happens the fight goes really crazy, style wise should be Fate/Unlimited Bladeworks when Shirou fight's Gilgamesh. If we get fully what the LN portrayed and the studio actually put a considerable budget and effort on animating that part of the battle, then it's going to be quite amazing to say the least. I wonder what would happen if Makoto broke Trashmoki's charm on Sofia, would she go borderline suicidal, like happened with Lime and most of the people who break free from that? Or would that just make her angrier since it only partially affected her? Lime is one unlucky guy...
She got "Charmed" by the Hero's power. She doesn't seem to have any crush yet, and has mostly been interested in the MC's Power and wanted to try him out again after finding him.
People miss the point on Makoto, he isn't letting people walk over him because he's naive, he lets them do it because to him, they're mere ants, as he is a true iteration of a psychopath that doesn't want to give in to his anger, Rona got one glimpse of his nature and decided to run away. Most of what Makoto shows to others is acting, a mask of normalcy he puts up to not freak people out because he doesn't want to go back to being a cold, ruthless guy that scares everyone, he does however, care about Mio, Tomoe and the people of Asora and if anyone hurts them, he removes the mask and that person will die in despair, regretting the day they made Makoto angry. That cleric from Hibiki's group tried to use her Ability to spy Makoto's soul, she got so scared she doesn't want to do that again.
Apparently his psychopathics tendencies are actually a result of him getting the blessing from the Moon God, Since he's his personal acolite in the goddess's world, he inherited a portion of his personality.
@@cameronrhodes1101 I am not sure, he was like that before ever meeting Tsukiyomi, his bow master actually helped him with his mask. A popular theory going on is that him having to be in the brink of death most of the time because of how harsh Earth was to him until his parents sacrificed his ability to heal, coupled with his parents grooming him and his sisters for the day they could be isekai'd (though they expected his older sister to be transferred) is what broke him mentally to that point.
keep telling people that the guy is not a normal MC. he is a literal psychopath in the truest sense of the word. he has no feeling, what he has, is the mask of emotions he tricked himself into thinking are real. this is a massive plot point that will become clear as times passes. but dont think of him as a genocidal maniac. he has that mask, and while its starting to crack, it's still enough to let him just go by, and move along. he couldnt care less about other people, if anything, he is just learning, because, as a psychopath, he has to learn how to "human". which is also why he wasnt angry AT the people who disses HIM. he gets angry when those around him ACT against him. this is probably why people think he is naive, or easy to fool, its just that, he doesnt really care about what is said, its when things get done that he starts to move.
@@marcosdheleno No one is as cruel as he was with that adventurer from season 1 unless they have at least sociopathic tendencies, while she deserved to die, if she was just angry, he wouldn't be as methodical as he was with her when he killed her, anyone that sees his real nature is scared, Mio, Tomoe, Rona... And Mio and Tomoe still want him as a lover, though, since they are monsters, they aren't sane either, and then there's that kid on Hibiki's party that thought it was a good idea to look at his soul without permission, now she's too scared to do it again, ever.
@@TheSpawnfan he isnt a sociopath. on the contrary, a sociopath is someone who doesnt care about rules, and dont understand them. a PSYCHOpath, is soemone who either has diminished or no emotions, instead emulating them to try and blend in. he was like that, because, that's the real him. he is a true psychopath, due to his childhood(psychopathy is sometimes aquired from traumatic events in childhood). he is able to emulate emotions, to the point of even thinking he is normal. but he isnt. that's what sets him apart from other MCs. also that event in s1, created a crack in that mask, which is why he kept talking about getting to his limit. because tomoe and shio prohibited him from meditating which was how he used to "repair" that persona of his.
The story shows that Makoto's power is growing but the looks of the anime from season 1 to now feels like he power is decreasing or he feels weak. The way bombastic he felt in the first season is not felt anymore

I wonder what would happen if Makoto broke Trashmoki's charm on Sofia, would she go borderline suicidal, like happened with Lime and most of the people who break free from that? Or would that just make her angrier since it only partially affected her? Lime is one unlucky guy...
😱 Sofia's secret crush reveal was a wild twist! 🥋
She doesn't have a crush, she's been charmed via magic.
@@Bluesit32correct
She got "Charmed" by the Hero's power. She doesn't seem to have any crush yet, and has mostly been interested in the MC's Power and wanted to try him out again after finding him.
Nice revenge for what this psycho did to Makoto in S1
Each chapter leaves you with goosebumps 😬😬😬
1:09 dun dun dun
Makoto was so arrogant here! I was afraid it was a sign he'd have to deal with more than he bargained for. But he delivered.
Madara: *That’s the way, boy.*
Bro wasn’t trying, but is still overpowered
Kuzunoha is an idealist that doesn’t need to follow idealist means when situations call for it.
He went for the maxium disrespect this fight
The story shows that Makoto's power is growing but the looks of the anime from season 1 to now feels like he power is decreasing or he feels weak. The way bombastic he felt in the first season is not felt anymore
AH, yes, I was wondering what would break first. Your spirit? or your body?
"Excellent, I've broken both your body and your spirit"
Dude still has his rings which lower his power and is not breaking a sweat
Most underrated anime of the season, best isekai right behind re zero
Pride cometh before the fall
“I’m going to break you like a KitKat Bar.”
The way she talked about the hero it sounds like he violated her good 🤣
“I was wondering what would break first- your spirit… or your body.”
Bane reference!!!
I love this episode this anime is worth every minute
Next week, we'll be grilling a cheeky flying lizard.
Makoto with thee flex
My boy Makoto really let Sophia Cooked, after tenderizing her and seasoning her with salty words, My boy made Sophia into a full blown entree...Now I'm hungry.
Now that what you actually called playing with enemy 😮 1:56
When the protagonist far outclasses one of the main antagonists to the point it’s not even a challenge anymore.
This also shows some power scaling. Sofia was charm by Tomoki. While Tomoe manage to dispell the charm from Lime. Like Kuzunoha said. Sofia is not strong enough to beat Shin(Tomoe) and Luto.
I waited for a good while for this and glad it was worth the wait for few of the back stabbing and undermining the MC got and even while not being fazed by it to a degree.
Dude is 100% Him.
The He is a potential Dragon Layer Kuzunoha is at it again😏🤣
I wish he was like this all the time. Anime surrounded around isekai villains are always good
He isn't a villain though??
Love this series ❤❤❤
i binged and caught up in 5 days haha, I love this series so much.
“Excellent. Now I’ve broken both your body and your spirit. Whelp, time to die.”
Thank you once again crunchyroll title-kun
Like mikoto kun he does not hold his punches.
Turns out Makoto has just been hanging around the most powerful entities in the world all along.
