Top Favourite Cherry Blossoms: Blushing Bride

Our final favourite cherry blossom is prunus 'Shogetsu', commonly known as the 'Blushing Bride'👰This tree is absolutely stunning😍 The weeping stems are completely covered with an abundance of double white flowers, which are hard to miss. The closed flower buds are light pink, opening to a bright white with an unusual green centre. ‪@GrowingUnderstandings‬ finds that the white blossom pairs really well when under-planted with something darker, creating a beautiful contrast.
It is an ideal cherry blossom to grow in a large pot, or in a small garden as it is very compact. The tree can also be easily pruned to stay a small size. If we were to grow one cherry blossom tree in a pot, it'd be this one!💮🌳
