    Editing a corridor in section in Civil 3D allows you to make detailed changes to individual cross-sections of the corridor, such as adjusting offsets, elevations, or adding/removing subassemblies. Here’s how you can do it:
    1. Open the Section Editor
    Select the corridor in your drawing.
    Right-click and choose Section Editor from the context menu.
    Alternatively, go to the Corridor ribbon tab and click Section Editor in the Modify Corridor panel.
    2. Navigate Through Corridor Sections
    The Section Editor window displays a dynamic cross-sectional view of the corridor at individual stations.
    Use the Station Slider or type a specific station in the station box to navigate to the section you want to edit.
    3. Edit Corridor Section Components
    Once you're in the desired section, you can make the following edits:
    A. Modify Points or Links:
    Hover over a point or link (e.g., lane edge, curb, etc.).
    Use grips to adjust its position manually.
    Drag to move points horizontally or vertically.
    Snap to desired objects or elevations.
    B. Edit Subassembly Parameters:
    Select a subassembly component (e.g., lane or ditch).
    Open the Properties palette (shortcut: CTRL+1).
    Modify parameters such as:
    Width
    Slope
    Elevation
    Depth or thickness
    Changes will apply only to the current section.
    C. Add or Remove Subassemblies:
    To add subassemblies:
    Exit the Section Editor.
    Open the Tool Palettes and attach new subassemblies to the assembly used in the corridor.
    Rebuild the corridor to apply the changes.
    To remove subassemblies:
    Edit the assembly and delete the subassembly.
    Rebuild the corridor.
    4. Add Targets for Specific Sections
    If certain sections require unique conditions (e.g., a different width or slope):
    Set targets for alignment, surface, or width at the station.
    Go to the Corridor Properties dialog box.
    Click on the Parameters tab and specify targets for specific regions or baselines.
    Rebuild the corridor to apply changes.
    5. Review Changes
    Use the Preview option in the Section Editor to verify the modifications.
    Switch between stations to ensure edits apply as expected.
    6. Rebuild the Corridor
    After making edits, ensure the corridor is rebuilt:
    Right-click the corridor and select Rebuild Corridor.
    Enable Automatic Rebuild for real-time updates as you make changes.
    7. Save Your Work
    Save your drawing after editing to preserve your changes.
    Tips:
    Use Feature Lines or Polylines as additional targets for more precise control over certain sections.
    If the corridor is complex, use Regions to isolate specific sections for easier edits.
    Always review corridor surfaces after editing to ensure accuracy.
