I didn't think I'd pull for her until I saw her animations, but they're so colorful and flashy! Now her design's really grown on me, she's just so cute.
She has similar feature with Havoc Rover style. Both of them can manifest another type of weapon for battle like H rover can manifest a spear and scythe her can manifest a long brush that looks like its made of a branch from a tree which is really cool.
I honestly dont know why they'd force themselves into having the same weapon system as Genshin, limiting themselves to only 5 weapon types. In Punishing Gray Raven, their other game, almost everyone has their own weapon, and it works. And I get this feeling over and over that they copy Genshin stuff for no reason when they already did it infinitely better in PGR

Their older game is a different genre while it's their first time making an open world, that's why they're NOT reluctant on just copying specific mechanics while changing crucial ones both at the same time. It's gonna be bad if it ends up being messy by mixing and mashing different mechanics for their first open world genre. And besides they can bypass this by basically making everyone conjure their other specific weapon regardless of their base weapon. Jiyan uses a broadblade and a spear, Encore uses her dolls and rectifier, Jinhsi and Jué, Yinlin and her puppet, Zhezhi and her brush, Changli and Vermillion bird feathers.

Besides, weapons don't limit their kit the same way genshin does. Jiyan uses spear, most rectifier have unique ways of attacking i.e. Yinlin with her strings. I just hope they bring bows into the game. I need veritas expy so bad I miss her snap.
