I'm not fully sure about the disappearing feature like most dwellers have, but if all you have to do is look away and look back for the crooked man to despawn, that wouldn't be fun nor *as* scary, right? There are some exceptions that make it worse or better, not gonna list them all and why it is like that, but still, horror mods these days are most of the time bad, putting a "scary".jpg on your screen, being one shot or atleast huge damage, not being any amount of psychological and instead just running at you until despawn from several factors, their death or your death. I can add more but I think that'll be it.

Here is my original comment from that video (link below the original comment) in full, for clarification if anyone is curious: I have seen the occasional comment in your previous video about this new horror mod clarifying that the Crooked Man's origins in the series. As those few comments said, he was first introduced in the Conjuring 2 specifically and was supposed to receive his own canon spin-off like Annabelle (the doll used by Malthus) and Valak, the demon that manifests as a nun, but then the Crooked Man spin-off was cancelled. I am greatly disappointed by its cancellation because I was really looking forward to it, though I can understand why based on the explanation given on Wikipedia. That said, an additional reason why I think it was cancelled was because in the Conjuring 2, the Crooked Man himself technically might not have existed as an individual entity. Rather, he was most likely another form Valak took on to torment the Hodgson family, first using it when Billy was all by himself, from my understanding of CZsWorld's video on him (link below). Im suspicious of any mod swale puts out. Theres been a ton of drama around him and his friends reskinning the dweller, copying from calvins lost in the fog videos (down to the way he speaks, his builds, and his music) and trying to sneakily get idk someguys code for the manbear when he was going to do a release of a early version. If you check calvins and idk someguys community posts you can very easily see this. The only person i think means well is puff, love the guy and he just seems to be with the wrong crowd and protecting his friends. I dont think swale is a horrible person btw, he seems like he could be genuinely entertaining by himself if he wasn’t trying to steal code and copy calvin so hard. I also hope you arent just going along with him just to get more popular and views, i think you are very entertaining jim and i only wish you the best ❤. Hey Ty for being open. I can say that I’m extremely new in this space but so far I love it. Swayle did reach out to me and I was pretty stoked to be able to talk to someone like him. I’m very new to the whole drama part of the horror space though. I can say on the other hand that Swayle is a really solid dude, not because he has subscribers, but because he introduced himself as a person and treated me with respect. That’s all I really care about in a person so either he made a mistake and he’s changed or I just haven’t seen that side of him yet. He’s young and he will make mistakes like anyone else.

The video looks a little weird, the ambient occlusion is doing its thing but there aren’t any big usual shader shadows and everything is weirdly bright with basically no shadows
