“I think she just wanted to reveal that they were in an alliance together” - underrated Melissa read lmao
We need full episode of jury round table. Absolutely
Matt's speech was so disappointing. Its like he didn't prepare or have a solid plan for an argument in his favor. Jag was arrogant, but he made a solid case for himself.
Random thoughts: Cirie seemed happiest of them all that it is finally over. 😂 Felicia looked amazing! Corey looks like he aged 10 years this season. Blue was the Bluest version of Blue and I'm glad I won't have to listen to her disingenuous vibe any longer. Seeing everyone learn about Jared and Cirie was a lot of fun.
He’s a recruit
Blue is really tiresome.
Cirie's face when they announced BB Reindeer Games. haha
blue was the bluest version of blue 😭 lmfaooooo
I think Mecole was definitely shading the editing about Cameron
my fave part of jag's speech was how he would go from mussolini with his answer to * thank you :) *
Hahaha, true. He would end with "thank you, love you" *kisses*
You all are the best part of Big Brother! Taran saves us from staying up all night to farm the good stuff out of the feeds, even when there were not many left in the house. I laughed so hard at the silly clip of Felicia making her bed not long ago😂😂😂
Other jurors likely told Cory/America what Matt was saying about them.
Rob cracks himself up and that cracks me up.
We need to remember that Matt had speech therapy for about 13 years in his young life - so I think that's a testimony to the fact that it's something he has struggled with. He wasn't fully prepared for the questions and struggled.
I was fine with either winning, although I was pulling for Matt.
And that we saw how he spent his energy in the days leading to the finale instead. There was ample opportunity to prepare; Cirie warned and prompted him weeks ago to come up with better answers than simply "better social game and I saved Jag" (which were his only arguments still); and yet he devoted the last two days trashing HGs who were in the jury instead of thinking of how to appeal to them.
Watching BB for the first time ever has somehow made me appreciate survivor production.
I love that rob threw out Bowies question while taran yawned. Seriously just love watching y'all and always laugh so much. BB is the only show I keep up with like this. ❤
That was the most entertaining finale speech ever 😂 the pizzazz and razzle dazzle from jag (as pooya said) was hilarious 😂🙌🛁🩸
If you like someone so arrogant & high on his own supply then ya,I guess.
@TheRea1Neil 10:20 Taran's explanation nails it. It was hilarious because it was bizarre. Aman basically said it was like a checklist of things winners say, regardless of truth lol! His comment about his hands covered in their blood hahaha 😂 my jaw was on the floor and I couldn't breath
@@TheRea1NeilYou have to be. It's their time to sell themselves, not to be unsure, lacking confidence.
Jag gave us the villain speech I never knew I needed it made me excited about the season, I never once thought that Matt deserved the win, it was very clear that was a stooge. People may have liked him better because he did his innocent sweet boy face every time he spoke to someone like oh I don't know I don't know because he was telling the truth he pretended to be without fault because it wasn't his plans, so that seemed authentic to them
Matt had set himself up great but got outplayed from jury onward when Jag, as he wisely pointed out, always got his way. Jag’s strategy wasn’t perfect, but it was dominant, and he sold it. Deserving of the win, especially given how horribly-prepared Matt seemed with his answers. Yes, Jag won lots of comps, and that’s frustrating as a viewer, but I disagree with anyone who wants to claim he ONLY won comps. The man was strategizing a lot, too.
He was smarter than the others. A master strategist.
self awareness this season was non-existent, the final 3 especially. Jag is a bottom 5 winner. but I respect his final performance.
100% agree with MORE JURY CONTENT
I actually felt a little sorry for FBJ when she went to hug Felicia and that didn't really work, and after Jag won when she wanted to hug everyone. It looked like no one really wanted to hug her.
Reindeer Games isn’t really trying to be Big Brother, let’s all chill out. You’re telling me I can see BB past houseguests and not have to see Julie Chen?! Perfection to me.
Top Chef used to do Holiday specials where they would compete against each other and also be cheesy and fun and reunite as a group of alumni from the show. The cheftesants hosted it too, no Padma. It’ll be fine, let it happen.
I was hoping they’d do BB OTT 2. Tbh, I loved that season. One of the most entertaining casts ever. It’s time we admit it’s better than most of the last ten seasons.
they’ll never do another OTT, CBS clearly hates that season
Lol it definitely was the most emotionally engaging 😂
19:18 for anyone that wants to relive Taran’s reaction to Bowie’s jury question
Bowie Jane killed Taran. 😂
Matt had to me, the arguably worst speech I have ever seen. I get he has a disability, but the issue was more with the things he wanted to say not how he said it. He has so many points he could have made, but by not making them -- I am now unsure if they were deliberate. Also none of the questions were ones you could not predict. Basically all of his speech was: I did everything with Jaggy. Meanwhile Jag took ALL the credit.
I am ultimately happy it turned out like this coz I was rooting for Jag more, simply coz he provided more entertainment this season, but the fact Matt basically just rolled over and died in his speech was confusing to watch.
Either way, regardless of the "quality" of the gameplay, it was kinda cool to see that we got a f2 of 2 people representing different communities that were not yet represented in the BB house.
My 1st thought was omg they are going to make Christmas the host 😣
Do they not allow the backyard interviews anymore?
Thank You Rob, Melissa, Pooya, Aman, and all the podcasters for making this season fun! I stopped watching the episodes and feeds and kept up through you guys. But most of All, THANK YOU TARAN!! You did a great job as always and kept us updated when most tapped out.
Taran is AMAZING and never phones it in.
Taran is excellant, and I would vote for him to be in a BB cast. And I voted for Cameron and a super fan. Please don't think that only casulas voted for Camerson.
Way too biased this season from this group. Maybe I noticed more because I moved away from cheering on Cirie weeks ago.
Jag truly went the route of - A thousand times told lie, becomes the truth.
AND - it worked.
It sounds like Big Brother was kinda inspired by Buddy Games for Reindeer Games with the number of comps.
Yes I won my big brother pool again this year. 2 years back to back. Wish I had a crown like pooya
This season was a let down overall. RHAP and Taran's LF updates were the only saving grace. I stopped watching episodes and barely watched the finale.
Thank you all again for a great finale recap and for awesome coverage all season. The season may have taken a turn for the worse, but y’all kept me invested through the end! Lmao the reactions to Reindeer Games were so funny 😂
Matt told Jag and Bowie that he didn’t want to throw the person he’s sitting next to under the bus. But I wish he did. I remember he laid out some points to Cirie about his F2 speech and one of them was that he used Jag as a shield. Wish he didn’t go with the integrity route in the end.
Thank you for a great season! I always appreciate your insight after episodes. ❤
This podcast is 1,000x better than that finale. Thank you for redeeming it.
This channel has been 1000x better than the CBS show all season.
Melissaaa, you have to just think of this on a show that CBS decided to do cuz the writers and actors were not available to put their normal shows back on the air. Reality "stars" are not part of the SAG. SO just take a deep breath and don't watch it !
I can’t help but feel like Matt kinda Amanda Kimmel’d himself tonight lol
Matt's second speech at the beginning was really good but it faded big time half-way through and became flat. I was right that Jag was never going to take Bowie Jane with him to final two ever, he just told her that and kept her to further his game to the end. Congratulations JAG. Bowie Jane made me laugh when she said in the first of the two parts "I wouldn't be surprised if they started BB26 by now". Have to admit that was funny.
7
I think the reason why they're trying to push the Riley and Matt narrative so bad. Is because they're trying to get them to do the amazing race together.
Jag was all "Tell Cirie....I want her to know it was me..."
I found Jag's jury speech really off putting. There was a really arrogant entitled tone to it that really spoiled his game for me. It was a bitter finish to what for me was a really boring season and a truly dull final 3.
I was so disappointed by the finale that I had to wait till the weekend to watch the recap 😩 thank gahd for RHAP keeping me sane and making me laugh about this mess.
This Reindeer Games season that's coming up is going to be a disappointment. Only 6 episodes? And it lasts for only 10 days (December 11-21).
theres no feeds, no social strategy, and the competitors dont even live in the house! its horrible.
Matt was hyper focused on saving jag, which confused me. it’s hard to explain a social game but Matt was disappointing at the end.
Blue can't wait until u see Jag wanted you to go more than once.
She knew something was a little off with Jag, but she didn't want to believe he wanted her gone. She kept questioning herself.
Jag was arrogant, Matt flubbed , Jarod ate too many cheeseburgers and dr Will got bit by twilight vampires
🎉🎉🎉
Lol. Thats about right!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Not bit by Twilight 😂
lol
😂
Am I the only person that thinks this was in the bottom 3 of Big Brother seasons ever?
Matt truly dropped the ball. Time to get back in the pool. Did he not prepare for one answer. I knew his answers better than he did.
Worst season and final 3 ever as far as I can recall.
You didn’t like the outcome so automatically the whole season was terrible? This season had some of the best casting big brother will always revolve around comps when that’s how you really get power. Go watch the circle if you want pure social gameplay
Cast was great, but production’s focus on physical competition and twists over the genuinely fun people and strategy caused the fun people to be eliminated while the top three was the most boring, least strategic, and least likable top three I could have imagined coming out of the jury phase.
@scarcity1525 A bad Jury phase can tank a season to the point where the goods of the pre-Jury can be undone, and this one was a notoriously bad one thanks to the Zombie twist and the horrible imbalance of competitions
It is the lowest rated and has the lowest online engagement so you aren't the only one who feels that way
Thank you for the season RHAP. I'm kind of sad the season ended.
So win comps then call the jury morons and get 750k…sweet
My 2¢
Matt didn't fumble anything. He was never going to win. I knew that most would vote for the gamesmanship, and that was always going to be Jag.
The reactions to the Cirie-Jared bond was better than the actual twist itself. I knew the season was in trouble when I heard that was the big surprise (huh...yawn...zzzz).
Not even a quick comment last nite on the Corey-America showmance-romance. Gee, they must have broken up already. Oh well.
If I never hear Bowie’s voice again, I’ll be okay with it. Jag is a pompous ass and Matt did nothing to prepare for the finale. Disappointing season for sure.
48:29 I actually heard from people more tuned in than me that Red has been “hanging out” with Luke; I can’t find definitive confirmation myself, but if true, it could explain why he was skipped.
Taran is the true...'America 's Favorite Player"❤❤❤❤...thank you for 100 days
Surprising that Jag won given that Matt was the favorite!
Matt should have let Jag go when he had the chance
I think it became a lock when Jag won Part 3 and took Matt with him to the end.
Matt might not have heard 85% in the house but he sure did here 85% of Andrew Tate’s misogyny sooooo 💁🏾♀️🥴
yes i want jury deliberation sooo bad!!!!!!
I want to watch BBRG just to watch past players again. They have the potential to make the games more entertaining.
Was listening on audio and had to chime in with Rob's comment at 8:05. Confirmed in exit interviews that Matt put thought into preparing for F2, and as a fan and a competitive person - how offensive!
In comparison, Jag reportedly had been thinking about what he could say about his game for a long time, and ran through every potential question he thought might come his way.
Their performances at the finale were exactly what Taran described: Matt doing well but never a clear path or plan; Jag thinking/overthinking every possibility and hyping himself up before he can convince anyone else.
Listen to this, around the one hour mark - you all are talking about America’s Favorite Player - I think those of you talking about Cameron in a negative way are just too close to the show. Most people don’t have time in their lives to watch the live feeds a ton. I appreciate what Melissa said and understanding why the casual viewer voted for Cam.
Thank you RHAP for incredible post show content, so glad this season is finally over CBS needs to restructure this entire show and realize that their bread & butter is not the physical competitions instead it's the characters & social strategy that make the show. Side note: its wild that there was 9 women casted 8 men casted, 1 man ejected and still none of the women won anything. :(
Big brother has become a watered-down kids version of The Challenge and it definitely needs to change very quick. Gone is the emphasis on the players and it has been replaced with stupid challenges asinine competitions and respect for gameplay has gone out the window this season was absolutely ridiculous and I for one will not be watching reindeer games that is an embarrassment to the good people who have played this game and who have become legendary
I really thought Jag's speech was going to cost him the game. But it does appear their minds were made up.
I loved Felicia tonight. I can't believe Cam won America's Favorite. Yuck.
All Matt had to say over and over again is “jag wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for me, he would of been home not even jury, America and Bowie would of last longer than him 😭 his game relied on mine if I played bad his game would of been horrendous but since I played good his game was okay.”
Which Natalie that Rob referenced played both big brother and survivor?
He meant amazing race & survivor. Natalie Anderson from San Juan Del Sur and Winners at War. The only people to play bb & survivor are Hayden Moss, Beast Mode Cowboy, and now Cirie.
Matt's answers and speech should have been a lot better. Congratulations to Jag and his culture!
I really do feel like Jag was not the better player. Like he really had full control of this jury phase. From cams hoh on he got the target off Cory. And has just dominated, I was skeptical at first because the competitions, but him not winning during the double really was like, well…. You can’t deny the work he’s put in. He kinda did single handedly take them out. Idk 🤷🏾♂️
I was happy for Jag (considering Matt has been really unbearable the last few weeks and tanked the jury questioning), but I Just seen some of the interviews. It proves that none of them understand the games they played, wanted to win, or even what BB is (or maybe used to be). I honestly wish they just took the money of winner and afp and just threw them in a fire or give to the people of next season. If you haven’t read/watched them, give the reporters the views but mute it cause it is so frustrating. I can’t even be happy for Jag cause it sounds like he WAS READY TO LOSE. I’ve never wanted everyone to be disqualified so badly, then to have Cam AND Matt be top 3 afp is a testament to how much they protected a lot of the men this season on the show
You wanted them to burn their winnings? Lol wtf dude
Jag is definitely bottom 3 winner. Completely forgettable winner like the end game of this season.
I think this is the closest thing we get to a Legends season .. unfortunately
Loved it that Jag won and it had nothing to do with him being Sikh. If Matt had won, I would have been happy too and it would have had nothing to do with being deaf. Would love if the commentary on the game had nothing to do with personal situations. There are a group of BB fans at my work and they agree with me so I know I am not alone.
I didn't get to watch y'all live so I'm watching it Friday morning. I voted for Cameron because he was an underdog, and it seemed nobody liked him especially Izzy. He does seem like an odd duck but we all are in our own way. But mostly I voted for him just to see Izzy's face if he won. And her reaction was Priceless...lol
All love ❤❤❤❤❤
19:53 says it all
1:05:19 No, because it would be a pleasant surprise if I got extra fries for free. This would be like getting more vegetables than what I planned to eat. I don’t want more vegetables. I understand the necessity of eating some vegetables, much like there’s a necessity to have a couple competitions in Big Brother. But I’m not trying to have more than the minimum requirement of either of those things.
I agree with Aman. If Riley is playing on Matt’s feeling for her for more airtime 🤢major ick
Guys, CBS needs content because of the strikes. This is easy content. Don’t look at it as BB. Think of it as some silly new game show with BB players and enjoy. 1:08:29
1915 through about 2015 BEST MINUTE EVER OF YOUR PODCASTS! These podcasts, along with a few other podcasters, are more entertaining than the show itself. It is why I wish there would be a season of 'Big Brother: Podcaster/Backyard Interviewer/TV&Parade Interviewer Universe'. Draft that cast! It would be amazing. As for my dream cast, it would have (obviously) the 5 of you (Rob, Taran, Pooya, Melissa, Aman), Taylor (ET), Jeff Schroeder (BB BY interviews), Ory, Cody, Derrick, Sharon Thorpe, Will (why not), Mike Bloom, Jolene, Kayla Fro, etc. What be yours?
So we're getting "Big Brother Oops! All Comps"? 😂 But I never expected an actual season, even if short, during the holidays. I dont think most players would come back during the holidays.
Production needs to change comps that are overwhelmingly designed for male athletic types and terribly biased (and fake reality) editing.
oh and if Jag got a lot of adrenaline from the stress of the last speech... so what? who among us could always be cold and calculating and perfect delivery? He was hyped up to be in that situation, and it meant a lot to him, so he got forceful... I'd give him grace on that. The fact is Bowie was betrayed by him, still believed him to be the winner after working alongside him, and still voted for him to win. says something.
the mamas voted based on resentment and feeling... they LIKED Matt more, when Cerie was /CUT-throat in the traitor... she knows game play... but didn't vote on game play. Interesting
She didn't have to write the letter..
I’m sad that America didn’t even make top 3
I'm glad
23:37 thank you Aman 💯
Jag Wins!!!
Cesternino Loses!!!
This proves that they already had their person locked in during jury round table. Jag’s speech left a bad taste in their mouths. How he said with confidence that he single-handedly made moves all season, especially with Matt, Cory and America watching. If I were the Cory and America, it would have made me vote the other way because this bold claim couldn’t be farther from the truth.
How does jag brag about winning every comp when his sole strategy for the season was to get out comp threats and only got that opportunity because cirie told Matt to use the path to power to save him.... but wtg i guess. *shrug* thank you taran for your work and to the real winner of this season..Rhap. long live king pooya
I think Matt was going to win, until Cirie was voted out. That moment tanked his game. Ideally, Matt would've targeted Jag, but neither of them had the nerve to cut the other. When Matt was HOH, he should've put up Bowie Jane & Felicia, if he wasn't going to nominate Jag. Assuming Jag would still win Veto and would then save Bowie Jane, Cirie would still go home, but Matt would've had his hand forced into a bad move instead of being seen as willingly going along with one. I think that would change the perception of him as a follower of Jag by the jury. It would've shown Corey, America, and possibly Blue that Matt was active strategically.
Jag cutting Felicia was also a bad move, but it had less of a lasting scar on his game since Jag wasn't working with her. Outside of being the 1 to decide to cut Cirie, Jag had zero good moves on his resume. He took sole credit for getting Bowie Jane to nominate Cameron, but he was actually going to fail until Matt stepped in to help him push. The way Jag handled his secret HOH was perhaps the worst move a bb winner has ever done; and could've easily turned Corey, America, Blue, & Felicia bitter. Maybe Matt was relying on that week alone to carry him all the way to the win? Ultimately, Jag's comp wins were the biggest reason for his win, but Matt misplayed f8 and on by not trying to distance himself from Jag's bad gameplay. They both ended up having the same negatives, with Jag having (barely) more positives.
The Jag/Matt duo kinda reminds me of Jay/Taylor in Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X. At first, everyone thought Taylor was the head and that Jay was the follower, until Jay took out Michaela after the swap. It showed the rest of the players that Jay was able to branch out of his original numbers and create a team with his own numbers. Jag cutting Cirie was the bb version of that, although more direct as Cire was Matt's number 2 ally.
Jag was amazing. I don’t know what you were watching.
@AnjelLee-nt1oz I'm not a Jag hater, I drafted both him and Matt pre-season. If I were a player and on the jury, I would've voted for Jag, too. He broke 2 comp records: most comps won in a single season & most vetos. Several times throughout the pod, Rob & Taran were trying to explain why Jag beat Matt, and that's my interpretation as to why. Matt was the front runner for several weeks and, unlike most front runners who lost at f2, had a better social game than Jag. I think Jag won because mostly comps, but also because he cut Cirie, which probably got Corey's vote. When Corey left, he was far more bitter at Jag, and so was America. Everyone in the fan base was operating as if Matt had 3 votes locked in on a 7-person jury (Corey, America, Cirie), which is a huge lead. Jag always had Cameron due to his comp dominance, while the rest were seen as winnable for both. Even Jag thought Matt was going to beat him 5-2.
Neither Matt nor Jag made quality moves in the game. Jag cut Cirie, and that's pretty much it. I'd give Jag credit for his secret HOH for putting up Corey/America, but that was after he already told them he was the HOH. Plus, he told Blue (his original target) after she saved herself. If you saw the feeds after Jag nom'd Corey/America, you'd have seen how upset Corey, America, Blue, & Felicia were at Jag. Many people were speculating that his move was going to lead into an all-girls alliance specifically against him. If it wasn't for Jag getting to play in the next HOH, either he or Matt would've gone home the next week. Jag controlled the season similarly to Paul in bb19; he made many moves, but none increased his win equity. Matt ended up more like Christmas than Josh. If Matt had underminded Jag's game, he would've won, but he was seen as completely loyal to Jag, and so he lost.
As far as me saying Matt should've cut Jag and vise versa, both of them felt for several weeks that the other was their biggest hindrance from winning. In purely hypothetical terms, both of them squandered the opportunity to maximize their possibility to win. It's the same as during Survivor: Winners at War, when people were confused as to why Tony & Sarah refused to cut one another. They were each others biggest threat, but they weren't thinking of each other on a game-level.
In many ways, Matt did this to himself.
*Jag

Melissa is a mood and I love her for it
I think anyone who voted for Cirie for AFP was simply biased going into the game. She had a HORRIBLE attitude. She was super boring. She wasn’t fun with her punishment. She wasn’t a good sport at all, like a lot of people are. I didn’t care for her attitude at all.
At least we know if Taran did a full game recap with Jag it'll be fairly short. 💀💀💀
I bet it wouldn't, as Jag would argue every point.
uh, Jag was mostly in control. Matt always gave into his logic on votes, Matt needed Jag to think thru the plans, Matt was likeable, very likeable. I always thought the best strategy was Jag, with Cameron in second, and cory in third for strategy.
Jag had strategy, ability to win all kinds of comps, and social enough to be believable to people... winner
Cameron 100% deserved to win AFP, he made the season interesting and when he left it was boring again. I understand there's a history of fandom when it comes to Cirie, but I find all of the idolizing of her so cringe.
Cameron's edit was ridiculously bad. He won because the anti-hero trope that has plagued this country for the last decade.
@bigmuncher589 Nobody is idolizing Cameron, but clearly someone's feelings got hurt.
I liked Cameron, and I am a live feeder
CBS wanted Cameron to win the game. His edit from beginning... That zombie week was for him. I don't believe he got the most votes.
12 days of Christmas has nothing on the 100 days of Taran. ❤❤❤
Much thanks Rob and Tarran, you made the worst season of BB funny and enjoyable watching your streams. Jag ARROGANT-UNDERSTATEMENT, IMO Matt played a BETTER OVERALL GAME, SHOULD HAVE WON. Told myself few years ago was gonna quit/cancel BB, and I was a viewer that watched every season, I was DONE, sick of PRODUCTION using twist to benefit ratings, $$$$$, and keeping HG's that should be evicted etc. Case in point, JAG 0 VOTES EVICTED, should have STAYED EVICTED. Production with Matt in DR working him. WORST SEASON EVER. America was a wasted HG, she tried to play a Nicole Franzel game, ride the coattails of a guy. Only difference, America couldn't keep her mouth shut. Sad to see a Great Player, Cire and her son Jared be thrown into the worst BB season. MADE IT EASY TO FINALLY QUIT, QUIT BB, CANCEL PARAMOUNT. I will say this, would love to see Cire and her son Jared do Amazing Race together, that I would watch.
I dislike that we have taken a step back from what Bb24 delivered, that social game and relationships are important. I get it, I don't want the snakes to get screwed, but the snake with zero social game, and only competitions .. Hell naw
If you have ever worked with deaf people speaking eloquently is very hard for them.
I disagree with a lot of what you all said. I think Jag was a superior player to Matt, both socially (with the people who counted) and strategically. Matt played a good game, but he clearly followed Jag’s lead. Neither are brilliant by any means, but of the final four, the best game player won. Cirie at the end could have been a different outcome, but I’m personally glad after watching the feeds this season that she didn’t make the finals and wasn’t America’s favorite.
Wow, Melissa looks incredible 🥵
Hours later and I'm still steaming I need to vent. Matt was clearly the better player. Jag knew the game better but Matt w/o knowing the game beat Jag in every head to head contest. Out stradigized (its not a word i know) Jag. I wish Matt knew more to emphasize his hearing not the simple fact he's deaf but the extended version. He couldnt be around the group literally He cant follow that many discussions at one time, so yes he had more one on ones with Cirie and Jag But he was doing all the stradigizing then. Cirie voted for Matt bc she believed Matt out played Jag. tks for letting me get that off my chest. LU ♡♡♡♡
Very good points about Matt and I agree! Also it's totally a word but just spelled strategized. 👍🏾
Jagr played the best game in was totally calculated. Matt and Jack had the best connection in the house of any two people. They work together very well. Jack knew what he was doing and had his moves calculated all the way through beforehand. He was very clear in his moves. Bowie Matt and jack work together well. Matt was a very easy-going person so he kind of got himself in entanglements of maybe promising people that he could not keep his promise to. And it was maybe because he felt in trapped. All in all Matt and Jack carry each other's right on through. With all techniques and social strategies Jag was a true winner and a phenomenal game player. Nobody else in that game was that good.
Personally I really wanted to see Matt when the game. Although Jag was a true winner and there's no denying it. Thank you
