Looks amazing Emz. And well done for raising all that money too. I’m watching this from my chemo sick bed and enjoying the gorgeous scenery! I can’t believe there’s no one else there when the WHW is so busy. Looks like heaven to me.
Good evening Ruth. 🙏 I hope you're kicking chemos ass girl. Sending you lots of love and healing thoughts. ❤️. Get yourself well. I really appreciate you taking the time to watch my video. I hope it has brought you some comfort while your fighting. Keep fighting 💪 💖. Yes the whw is so busy and this one I can count on one hand how many people I saw. Xx
😁👍 Well done Emz for your first day covering 18 miles is great, esspecially if in pain x I think the best is yet to come in part 2 . Congrats also for raising a fantastic amount for Northumberland mountain rescue 👏👏🤗
Evening Mike. Thank you so much for watching. When I worked it out I'd actually done 21 miles so was very proud. I'm so happy to have been able to raise so much money for our lads and lasses. Thanks again
Been flat on my back ill all last week and then told I had borderline pneumonia, so I have been really looking forward to seeing this walk. So pleased for you that the weather was great as were the amazing views, especially the snow covered mountain tops and those paths looked great too. Nice to have Rolo with you, nice bit of company and Emma as a bit of support as well but I do not know how you can start hiking without a good breakfast first. What a shame the weather deteriorated a bit for you as the way went on but good to see you were not soaked and a great effort on 18.5 miles on the first day. very enjoyable watch, cheers Alan
Ah Alan I'm so sorry you've been poorly. I hope you had a lovely time in the lakes with the family. Looked like a cracking holiday. When I worked it out I had actually done 21 miles my first day. The route is actually longer than it says on the info board. 😳. I absolutely loved every minute of it and can't wait to show you day 2 and 3. You get well friend and look after yourself
Brilliant Emz ,stunning views all around, you look really chilled enjoying it , well done , looking forward to part two ,thanks for sharing atvb Deka 👍🏻👊🏻👌🏻💯
Great start Emz that's good going for your first day and still time to show those glorious views. Looking forward to the rest of the trip as you head into the mountains and past the highest north of The Great Glen. The birds were crossbills which are very common up that way. Take care. Mick.
Very good emz your getting there respect to ya friend for running you around to camp class views there loving the forestry with the mountains in the background good stuff you go girl smashing it 👍
Thanks mac. 🏴. It's incredible isn't it. I'm on a come down now but so glad I had the footage for memories. Have you any other long distance trails planned other than Cape wrath

Hi Emma, just come across your video, I’m walking the Affric Kintail Way at the end of the month, have to say what brilliant narration, really enjoyed it and looking forward to part 2, hopefully before I start my journey. 😊
Morning Lee. You'll love this trail. It's incredible. After doing the west highland way a couple of years ago I didn't think it could be beaten, but the affric certainly surpassed my expectations. I hope you have an amazing time.
Morning Emma, I’m really looking forward to it, it looked like it really had a positive emotional effect on you 😊 it sparked my attention as it’s a low level hike, I’ve had 4 operations on my knees so the high level walks are off limit, but maybe later on. 😊
Best wishes for your trip😊. Just started watching pt1! . You probably say at some point how to sponsor you,but I probably missed that as we're still watching first bit of yer first vid. Best wishes 🫡👍🏼
Evening fraser. Thank you so so much for watching. There's a link on a post in my community section. This trail I absolutely loved. Every minute of it. I fell in love with the west highland way when I did that but the affric kintail way is even more amazing 👏
