Louis has been living in Hong Kong for many years so he can offer insights on China that others can't. Louis thinks that the expansive monetary and fiscal policies in the U.S. and China will lead to higher inflation. What do you think?
not really, theres deflationary pressure many places, perhaps except the US who are still inflating, china stimulus would counter the deflationary pressure, and there is still plenty of capacity to cover the additional demand that may come. for the us, if tarriff war comes, that should lead to a bit of inflation, but there is also alot of pricing gouging issues that can help deflate, we ll see if that happens. then again, the tariff war may has alot of thundering sound, but it may lead to some actual deal making that may be not as bad eventually
Louis-Vincent is a brilliant and articulate and erudite fellow when he is not using vulgar language. Moreover, he speaks better English than the vast majority of native English speakers, even those who are supposedly "educated". His vocabulary, for example, is much larger than that of mose native English speakers. Says a lot about the dismal education systems in the U.S.
11:40 the US is the reserve currency and therefore certain things can be gotten away with in terms of the debt levels. Wonder how 'the unit' (i.e. the new gold-backed currency rumored to be created by the BRICS nations) will affect things? I'm definitely staying away from the long end of the bond curve till this plays out ... and I'm glad to have a good chunk of my portfolio in gold. Also, agree with Louis-Vincent that emerging markets may be about to outperform relative to the US. Thanks for interesting interview.
If the Brics comes with a gold back currency what happens? I know many of you think its to early, mybe your are right, but if you are caught offguard and it comes, over night everything might reset, the time ahead is not chasing great returns, but to protect one self and void the big loses that will whipe people out.
Inflation has not gone away. It might be lower but it has not gone away and I think come 2025 it accelerates again then all hell breaks loose when the Fed increases IR.
Thank you for your Educative videos .. If there is one thing I have learned in recent months it is to remain calm, especially when it comes to investments in cryptocurrencies. Learn not to sell in a panic when everything goes down and not to buy in euphoria when everything goes up. I advise y'all to forget predictions and start making a good profit now because future valuations are all speculations and guesses. Bitcoin going up is good for the entire market and you can not tell if it's going bearish or bullish. I Would say More emphasis should be put into day trading as it is less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market.I have made over 31btc from day trading with Seren Wintersun insights and signals. in less than 2 months, this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish...

2025 will be a deflationary year because the industrialized economies are already in 50%-66% recessionary conditions. China will continue to export deflation to the rest of the world. If the USA and China re-stimulate their economies in 2025, the inflationary effects will start to become evident in 2H2025, and clearly so in 2026 and on.
While China will export deflation it will by it’s skewed income distribution be tilting US deficit more and more. And at last create a hyperinflation situation in the West. By that set a new long term debt cycle in motion.

Always enjoy hearing Louis. He is one of the few who offers non-biased opinions on China unlike others in the West.

It's Jimmy Connor, thanks for the comment/question and this is one I have to ask Louis during our next discussion.
BRICS won't have a gold currency because China is on record not supporting that.
Always ask yourself what companies you are investing in support. If you invest in that stock, you are supporting that agenda.
Time stamps would be very helpful.
Does Netflix use timestamps?

5:40 Fed has 3 mandates, not 2. 25:00 Govt officials don't know better than not. Bernanke, Sullivan blunders

Nice, I was just hodling before I found Wintersun. In my opinion she is the very best out there.

China is cheap by Western standards. Unfortunately, those are the wrong standards. The Chinese Politburo says so.
