I’ve been using the shockwave a couple days now idk if it’s my unit but it’s very quite the music gets drowned out around 40mph+
Have you tried moving the speakers so it lines up better with your ears? At 40 it’s very solid for me, even if it’s windy which in NM it’s usually always windy. What bike are you riding?
@@ravynjl yes I adjusted the mics I’m on a 2016 Ducati monster 821 with Stock exhaust which is pretty loud did you do an update on yours
@@mikemike7278 haven’t heard those in person but I have an after market Akrapovic on mine and it fine, I’d say I can hear the music quite well up to 60mph and then it depends on the wind from there. If no wind, up to 75 it’s ok.
@@ravynjl it’s pretty loud for a stock exhaust it was pretty windy today so I’ll try again tomorrow I love the helmet don’t plan on getting rid of it just want the speakers to be louder
@@mikemike7278 they are extremely loud if you turn them on in your house and not riding 😂 I honestly try not to blast them past 70% on highways because I do not think it’s good for my ear drums even though at the time of riding you really want it louder. So I’m also not looking for anything louder at the moment. I can’t imagine how loud your bike must be because mine is very loud, hope you figure out what the issue is with your unit though!
I think that for solo rides listening to music and occasionally answering phone calls the shockwave is great but if you are doing touring with buddies go with a Cardo or Sena
Is any1 phone calls audio really bad? If not can someone help me fix it?
Can you put any interconn in the ruroc or its just only the Shockwave you can put in?
i got my shockwave for free bc the deal they got going on with the carbon/track helmets so free is always better

how is the bass in the shockwave ?, is it good or is the sound thin and flat?
It’s better than in the $20 dollar system I compared but it’s still not great. Not worth the 170 bucks premium you pay if sound quality is concern. If I were to put in in numbers it’s about $30 better if that makes sense.
