i think they’ve been referred to as “blackened death” metal and i dig that for them. Also they’re touring with revocation and morbid angel this month and next in the US. Would recommend grabbing seats if you can 🤘🏻🖤

Crypta is a brazilian band formed when Nervosa split up in 2020. The singer/bassist (Fernanda) and the drummer (Luana) left Nervosa and formed Crypta with 2 other members. Prika, the guitarist, had to find other members to rebuild Nervosa. Now Brazil has these 2 (among others) HUGE female only thrash/death metal bands. You should check out Nervosa as well! They also released a new single and music video called Endless Ambition.

If you're open to another all-female metal band, PLEASE check out the band Burning Witches (they're from Switzerland) and their new song "Unleash the Beast." Old school metal; you'd swear you're back in the 1990's. Total "heaviosity."

The singer and the drummer were on Nervosa, which was another successful band. They reborn with Napalm Records again with Crypta.
