Hi Vesper, I loved your video review! I got this laptop and was learning a little bit about it. I'm having it delivered later this week so I am very excited!
I found it at a really good priced refurbished, (model UX582LR, $2099 with a 3070, 32 GB of ram and an i7 10870H at 2.2GHz, 1TB SSD, and Windows 10 Pro). The only thing it's missing is the pen, shell and wrist pad.
Hoping that is not a big deal since I'm going to be using it for 3D animation (Maya) and always use a bluetooth external keyboard and a wacom tablet as a mouse. Also, most of the time I have an external monitor attached. But when I travel I will be using it stand alone.
Do you think the pen is really good... I saw some reviews that were complaining about it's drawing capabilities and pressure sensitivity was not that good. They were testing in Photoshop. But I don't know the model they were using and if it was fixed in the UX582. But like I said, I'm not drawing almost ever and use a wacom so probably not a big deal.
In any case, thanks a lot for the video. Loved all the detail you go into, especially when talking about your workflow and how you use the external display with the Asus controls and how you modify the panel.

Thank you for the in-depth usage preview. I have two queries.
1.Due to the nature of an OLED display, are you worried about the burn-in in can get from the static toolbar and interfaces like PS/AI/AE/Blender etc?
    2. Does it fully utilize the power of 3070 card while the external display is connected via HDMI?

i recently bought this notebook for work and i already have some issues with it! The secondary screen behaves as a touchpad for the mainscreen . i cannot select anything on the secondary screen without the help of a mouse or the touchpad/numberpad. I made a factory reset 2 days ago and it behaves exactly the same! i made some research regarding this issue but i didn't find anything and anyone talking about something like that. Now i think i have to send it back in service even if i only had it for 15 days. Maybe i made by mistake a hidden command, without knowing it, but i really don't find how to fix it!

This is pretty odd of an issue. Did you try using their ScreenPad+ Troubleshooting app because we recently faced a similar issue with our own Zenbook. Once we used the tool, it solved the issue for us.
