Open CMD Write: wmic path win32_videocontroller get caption
what ever the name of the gpu that is there copy it
do win+r to regedit
Right click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and click search, now search for the name that the cmd gave you, in this case “NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER”
-and change every prompt with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080
For Old CPU's do the Following
Do win+r and write: devmgmt.msc
Now look for your processor and right click - Properties - Details tab and look for Driver Key and copy the code
-Go back to Regedit
And in here HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum Right click Enum folder - Search the code you copied
Each folder from _0 to _b needs to change the name that appears on “FriendlyName” to a better processor in my case i used AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor"

Ok so I actually managed to get it to work by editing the registry.
Windows search "run" then enter "regedit" and click OK
my path was " Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0000 " although the folder you're looking for at the end may say "0001"
Within the 0000 or 0001 folder, one of the lines will say "DriverDesc" if you double click on that, you can change the value to whatever you want. In my case, I simply switched from "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER" to "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080."
REBOOT PC after all. Good luck

I FIGURED IT OUT FOR AMD USERS, all you have to do is go in Regedit and edit the 0001 folder instead of the 0000 in the video, it will be right below it, and then instead of restarting your computer to apply the changes you logout of your user in windows, and login again, and you will have to do this everytime you restart your computer.

I just got it to work, i needed to keep searching for my gpu several times after the initial search because more prompts of my gpu kept popping up, then change all of the prompts with your gpu. ALL prompts. Then i just pressed control alt delete and signed out and back in and launched the game, so far so good.

Hey, So far it seems to be working for windows 10 users only. Also your GPU needs to have Atleast 6gb vram for it to work.
Important: If your system has less than 16gb RAM then it wouln't work regarless. Doesn't work for laptops from what i've seen

@@dikahuh i meet all of these requirements but still cant run it. I noticed that the only place in my pc that it says my actuall card name is in device manager in device description but i cant edit it in the registry editor or find it by any means.

Works! You just have to do the same HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE step over and over again, in my case putting RX 580 series and changing each record that says the same thing to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080, it takes a while because there are many RX 580 series records. I have an amd ryzen 5 3600 and an RX 580

@@matteolandi1842 on the regedit , i found a file named DriverDesc ,so i just changed the rx 580 to the rtx 2080 just like the video . and did the same to the cpu just like the video . after this just restart and play the game .

For those of you on laptop that are wondering if this game will be supported if you look at the game page on steam under system requirements and additional notes it says , "This only represents the requirements for the closed test in May. We will continue to optimize for more devices, please stay tuned." So unfortunately gotta wait a little longer and I would advise against messing with your registry.

Even changing in the register ALL entries from NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 and from Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10400F CPU @ 2.90GHz to Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700K CPU @ 5.10 GHz didn't work. If you restart the computer, some entries return to their original value. So even changing EVERYTHING and just relogging without restarting the PC didn't work. windows 11.

How is it going so far? I have this same GPU with CPU i7 7700.
@@bruno9569 man its runs well for a 1060! after some plays it starts to get a little slow tho in the first minute, but all good after. and it takes some time to load your char in the map. the game is also a huge memory consumer, it breaks after i open other programs in parallel (even browser)

if it doesnt work after you put other GPU and CPU names all u have to do is sign out of your windows account after you put the names of other GPU and CPU in and and sign back in and it should work, because for me when i restarted the pc it changed back to my original specs. hope this helps
Hello, i changed my vega 11 graphic to rtx 2080 and my ryzen 5 3350g to a 9 7950x3d and then i reset my pc. The game still keep sending me that my grapchic card doesent have enough ram.
Every time I reset my pc after changing my driver to a higher gpu it resets back to the original gpu that was there
I tried to do this, but every time I restart my PC it goes back to default.

When i do the changes.. should it also change the names in the task manager ? because when i do everything in regedit CPU/GPU and log off , log on.... nothing changed in task manager... but in the reg edit itself, yes. ????

This is for everyone with multiple GPU's in particular with a GPU which meets the Requirements and one that doesn't.
My Specs are following:
R9 3950X
RTX2080ti
GTX1070ti
64GB RAM
With a Setup like that you still get the Error and editing the Registry does not work since the Game still detects the 1070ti.
Easy fix for that is to go into your Device Manager -> Display Adapter -> Right Click the 1070ti (or w/e card yall have) and disable it. (Do not Uninstall just Disable)
Now start your Game again and it should work.
Guys, u have to search for your gpu and change its name until regedit dont find it anymore

Try in search to find everything that has the same name as your gpu name in the register untill serch can't find any more

It wont if your card dont have 6 GB VRAM
Followed this step by step and now my pc wont turn on after restart, getting a blue screen and a message saying “your pc did not start correctly” 👌 currently 2 hours deep trying to get it to boot
try this fix:
- remove all device that are plugged in your PC (then turn them on)
- try removing the ram sticks and GPU and put them on again and turn it on

or do all this.
you have a hardware issue, it has nothing to do with changing regedit
Still works, you just need to keep finding your gpu and chaning it to something else
Could you try to find a bypass for people with less than 6gb Vram? It seems this only works if your gpu has + 6GB Vram. Thanks in advance

I replaced my graphics card with an RTX 2060 wherever I could, but when I rebooted the system, there were 2 files, namely HardwareInformation.AdapterString and HardwareInformation.ChipType, restore the old name of the graphics card again. Is there a solution to this problem?
Don't reboot your system, change it up again and instead of rebooting log off your windows account in the reboot pannel, then login back again and it should work, you will have to change the files manually each reboot btw.

Weird.. I tried this, and also what the pinned comment recommended, but it still doesn't work. I can start up the game and it loads into it now but before the menu screen I get the "System does not meet requirements" error and it closes again.

then you change all the "regedit", dont restart your PC.
Press Ctrl+Alt+Supr or Ctrl+Alt+ End or Ctrl+Alt+Del and close your session or logout. (NOT RESTART)

I dont think so, this game looks at your hardware for whatever reason to see if you meet the minimal standard, i dont know any other game that does that so it shouldnt create a problem

I can change CPU logs, but whenever i switch my GTX 1660S to any other, after pc restart it comes back to 1660 super so I cant play.

I dont think this works on AMD cards, every time i change it it goes back to default every time i launch my pc, we just have to wait for them to open the game for lower spec pcs, shis so dumb

For anyone who have LAPTOP and dont work , maybe is because of integrated graphics of your cpu, you need to dehactivate the integrated graphics in the bios, i have a Lenovo LEGION 5 WITH RTX 3060 LAPTOP +amd Ryzen 7 5800h , integrated graphics consume ram thats why it wont run, i hope i hell some of you with laptops.

So I tried this and it didn't work. I have a RTX 3050 with amd ryzen 5 5625 u. When I do this there's also places where Radeon Graphics is listed. Do I need to change those also? Or do I need to change the processor name as well?
If your vram is lower than 4gb it will not work

@HgRicky It's a closed beta, they didn't fully optimize the game yet for most graphics cards and the reason why it's because they don't want to hear alot of feedback during a closed beta period. Just be patient and hopefully they will optimize the game soon

You can log out of the system without turning off the PC (log out of the user to the password entry screen) and then log in again. This helps many people. But, if your video card has less than 4GB of video memory, then this will not help you. :(

i have a rx 6750 12gb ram gpu and a Ryzen 5 5600g, i changed the cpu to ryzen 7 like the video and it didn´t worked for me
im using 3700x and 1080ti, just today i got those warning about minimum requirements. Before it, i can play with my current setting, this happen after i update windows.
Then i follow the guide change my 1080ti to 2060 in ALL HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE after that i try restrat and also try log out windows method but the value gpu description keep revert to 1080ti and i cant get to the game.
Any clue to solve this problem?

@@KODSp3ctra1REAL There's nothing you can do, your card doesn't have 6 VRAM, besides being very old and not very good for current games, even more so Arena Breakout which is relatively heavy for an older card below Nvidia's 20 series, not even if you had one current card with 4gb vram you would be able to play because it needs 6gb vram, don't even mention a card from 10 years ago

Not really, the drivers will know which card you have not by the name, but by the hardware ID.
