The Japan men's national volleyball team (Japanese: 男子バレーボール日本代表) represents Japan in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches, governed by Japan Volleyball Association. Their nickname is "RYUJIN NIPPON (龍神 NIPPON)", meaning "Japanese Dragon God" or "Dragon God of Japan" in Japanese.[1] Japan won a bronze medal at the Tokyo 1964 Olympic Games, followed by silver at Mexico 1968 and a gold at Munich 1972. The years after this have been less successful. Japan missed three successive Olympic Games before returning at Beijing 2008, where they failed to win a match. Japan then failed to qualify for the London 2012 Olympic Games and also missed Rio 2016 after finishing seventh at the World Olympic Qualification Tournament in Tokyo.
The Cuba men's national volleyball team (Spanish: Selección masculina de voleibol de Cuba) represents Cuba in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches, governed by Federación Cubana De Voleibol. Cuba in the 1976 Summer Olympics won their first bronze medal. In FIVB competitions, the national team won one gold each at World Cup, World Grand Champions Cup, World League and Challenger Cup. Cuba also attained two silver and two bronze World Championship medals and have won the NORCECA Championship 15 times with a 6-peat record.

parabéns a equipe Japonesa, acompanho vôlei desde 1982 e nunca tinha visto uma geração Japonesa tão boa como essa, os jogadores estão extremamente confiantes e concentrados a equipe tem que aproveitar esse momento porque é muito difícil achar e acertar um time de vôlei, pode ser nos Estados Unidos na Rússia no Brasil qualquer país é muito difícil de acertar uma geração de jogadores e formar uma equipe vencedora, ano passado na liga das nações de 2022 já dava pra ver a grande evolução técnica e tática dessa equipe Japonesa tem que aproveitar esse momento se o Japão não vencer a liga desse ano vai vencer alguma competição em 2024 ou 2025 ou 2026, esse levantador é muito bom é bem ligado na partida, os jogadores de nº 12 e 14 são muito bons e os dois centrais também enfim parece que a equipe Japonesa achou o equilíbrio parabéns.

The fake spike from the Japanese side was incredible, but also take a look at how the Cuban blockers immediately changed track and reacted quickly, jumping up in front of the other spiker instead. The reaction timing with these players is absolutely insane. though hoping japan brings home a win for asia 🎉

Well less height gives you advantage in defence and mostly their height is perfect from 6,2 to 6,4 and 6,6, ,6,7 a perfect height were you got advantage of body with proper defence can jump higher bcz of muscles can be agile got explosivness can fully use their speed as advantage sometimes we have all the things we need we just have to find it and work on it

Because he just had an injury (sore shoulder). He may have recovered since he's already playing in matches but still not in top form.
