I'm very glad you appreciate their artistry. Another BTS song that I recommend is "UGH!", another rapline joint, which also has a lyric breakdown by DKDKTV(the lyric videos you might stumble into do a disservice to their pen game by either mistranslating their lyrics, or making them appear nonsensical, so breakdown videos and analysis videos are very helpful as far as appreciating their lyricism). Doesn't have as much or more impressive wordplay as "ddaeng", but it has a great message that is still relevant today.
I loved this reaction and actually wanting understand this rap! Once some actually dip dives into BTS discography and realize they have substance, is very meaningful, so, thank you
Thanks for taking the time to do the explanation....you are a ddaeng! I think of all the BTS songs with explanations....I have been most impressed with 'Spring Day' because the lyrics tell one story while the visuals tell a different, intentionally 'secret' story...one that, in their own way, BTS was brave enough to tell. Explanations for this song are found on two other channels, not DKDKTV. Easy to find, both are great, but bring tissues. Next would have to be RMs 'Persona' because it is the introduction to their Map of the Soul series and it delves into the theory of individuation by Swiss Psychiatrist, Carl Jung. It explains why you will see, in many of BTS lyrics and visuals, the use of black and white, shadows, questioning of self, "who am I". Also explains the other songs by JHope 'Ego' and Suga 'Shadow'. The story of 'Map of the Soul' is also the theme of the amazing live show at the 2019 MMA, starting out with 'Persona' by RM, who you will start to see is also very well read. And third would be Suga's 'Daechita'. Although the explanation is amazing and the songwriting, especially deep from a Korean perspective, is brilliant..... the explanation itself doesn't include Carl Jung's theory.... the character played by Suga definitely is questioning which 'persona' he's going to be..... which one wins in the end. Borahae, ARMY grandma
And none of this is accidental, RM,SUGA and J HOPE ,really thought this through when figuring out how this was going to come across to their American fans. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉😊
Thank you so much for the explanation and taking the time to appreciate BTS diversity and lyricism! DDAENG is a masterpiece there's no other word! And btw, if you are interested, RM is dropping is new album this Friday, May 24th!! it's called Right Place Wrong Person, title track LOST! :) Would be amazing to have a reaction video ! You can listen to the pre release track Come Back To Me already !! Thank you thank you 💜💜

Ddaeng! I never get tired of you appreciating how RM is a problem. 💜💜 I'm OT7 but seriously, sometimes RM makes me question that. And btw... when RM's album drops, feel free to react, but please don't post in the first 24 hrs, it is considered disrespectful and ARMY doesn't generally put up with it since it takes away from their official charting numbers, which are hard to get as it is. Just wanted to give you a heads up because I enjoy your reactions for real and I hope your channel keeps growing!
I love when people get inspired by BTS. And yes, RM, is definitely a problem. A rapping poet. 😘💜🫰🏻🫶🏻
RM (and the rest of the guys) are masterful!
I'm very glad you appreciate their artistry.

I like how you are learning and thinking of applying the learning. This is my fav song and RMs verse is my ringtone!
That's so cool. I feel like if I had that as my ringtone, I would end up dancing in my dream 😂😂

Thank you too! Hope you are well!
I miss their explanation videos SO MUCH 😢
"Frog in a well" is like the English-language saying "big fish in a little pond."
