Unless you’re going for the kill, I really don’t advice Q canceling with W. W is vlads only way to get out of sticky situations and it has a mongo CD.
Q cancel with W can be used to save yourself at times, it got ne out of sticky situations alot if times because of phase rush, if you auto or E at the start then Q cancel W it will proc phase rush and save you
Well vlad can use it aswell to engage or dodge any incoming cc while engaging
Q cancelling with W uses less hp because you will lose 20% current health BEFORE the healing reaches you. This can easily be a difference of 400HP with empowered Q in the late game

Press R on enemy ADC/Supp or if they are in same area, save your W and kite using your Q E during clash, Vlad is 1v9 machine in late game, I main him along with Zed, but I prefer Zed more cause of sick outplays xd
Also you can cancel and Q animation with E. You shouls juse e and q when you release it

Those are the basic combo everyvlad player should know but there are some other advanced combos like :
E + flash + red Q + R + ignite + W + proto
And it should be done in less than 0.5 secs and this combo let u one shot any Adc and supp if nearby or some midlaners and junglers . And if u have over 900ap and void staff and infernal soul u can delete at least half hp of a tank with more than 250 MR with just E and red Q . Its better to pick electrocute against squishy champ or phase rush if more than 2 tanks . Some other advanced plays , items , runes u will be able to know once u master vlad and know its limits .

@@duchieu083 ye try it out u can delete any adc with ez if u have proto or night harvester , rabadon and make sure to buy dark seal cuz its the best item in the entire game u can get up to 50 ap with just 350 gold
@@duchieu083 and there 3 important things to gain the extreme power
1. Know how control your wave and try not to miss anyfarm
2. Macro play always keep your eye on the mini map , vision , and whenever you find an opportunity to get a kill without being killed go for it or roaming bot or top relly helps u stack the dark seal and get more gold
3. At early game try to get or ks everykill possible cuz u will stack dark seal ( and if have a good lead get urself majais and play safe ) more gold and exp cuz when u reach the mid/end game u will be extremely powerfull and no one can bear to tank your dmg

Never been able to cast E during W or anything near, I suck with vlad
All about timing. You cast your E and then enter W, simple as that. Don't try to do them both at the same time starting out. But it's also about timing in the fact that you don't want to E->W if you won't have your Q back up before you exit the W (usual early game situation). You won't be able to maximize your damage and likely won't get a phase rush/electro proc off
