Not sure if you have finished the 12v electric height controller or not, if you get a car window motor and switch it might save you some hassle or a wiper motor if you need more torque. The window switch is already momentary toggle.

You have the rollers on the wrong side of the blade they need to be on the top of the blade putting downward pressure of about 1/8of an inch

Good for you. Just a guess, but if you saw somebody picking the pocket of your neighbor, you might do or say something to stop it. That’s what’s involved with hobo freight. Corporate America thinks that’s perfectly ok for you to do nothing….

My brother in law bought harbor freight & I modified it to accept 18 ft logs, the handles where you use to lock the height adjustment,I bent a rod that fits inside the handles from side to side & welded it to the handles so I can use it to lock the height adjustment. Thought this might be a help.
