I hate to see that.
I don't understand why is it that men like him don't get too famous. It is awful to see musicians on mainstream that are light years from reaching this level of mastery at something or from conveying emotion like this. I feel very bad about that. However, I'm glad that I have access to this kind of fantastic music.
The average listener doesn't have the attention span to listen to something this relatively complex.
Eugenio Moraes I think It is because world is mad in the view of guitar player. They don't need to shake with them they are independent and strong and have different soul.

He produces such clean, rich tone. It is incredible to have a guitar sound like that. I will always admire his sound.
Damn it , Antoine Dufour is under appreciated on RUclips... I could even argue that Existence album is more emotional than all of Andy McKee's...
He was around before Andy as well. Still remember when Andy went viral and I thought, what about Antoine?

Came back after watching this video about 4 years ago. The Existence album is truly great. It's one of those instrumental albums where there isn't one song that I'll fast forward through to get to another. Antoine Dufour recharged my love for the guitar after walking away from it for years due to an inner ear illness, and subsequent brain surgery.
I hope you’re well and still playing. Antoine Dufour’s songs are the most fun to play. I think he’s the best fingerstyle composer. My favorite album of his is Convergences - all of the melodies in that album are awesome.

I love hearing new stuff from fingerstyle acoustic artists because it's like adding another Element to the periodic table...I don't know. There's just so much to DO and to say in fingerstyle. I was truly blown away coming across this style, as a musician. It's always good hearing something fresh from you Antoine. Excellent travail!

Existence is still one of my all time favourite acoustic guitar albums (the other two being Passion Session by Don Ross and Art of Motion by Andy Mckee). It has been way too long since I've listened to its content.
My dream is too some day get to your level of success. By success i mean actually doing what you were put on the earth to do, I don't normally say this to people my soul recognizes yours!!! namaste~

Mr. Beauregard was going to make my signature model too, but he passed on the opportunity. I was shocked...I felt my performance of Smoke on the Water was more than adequate to warrant a signature model....May I'll contact Mr. Beneteau...or perhaps Greenfield Guitars, surely one of them could recognize my genius... ;-)
