I love this Maia - the idea of rescuing a WIP. I have a few abandoned pages out there, where I had an idea for what I wanted to do, but it just went sideways. And somehow, it put me off the book entirely. By rescuing an old page, I might be able to reclaim an entire book for myself. I know exactly which page I need to revisit. Thanks for the inspiration, Maia!

Love that teal colour paint and your bubbles are superb. I was gifted 3 Johanna Basford books recently and Lost Ocean was one of them. I started colouring the shark page yesterday ❤

Really enjoyed this one Maia. Thank you so much for sharing how you have been “rescuing“ some of your earlier pages. I definitely need to come up with a plan to do the same on a few that I colored much earlier. This was really helpful to see. Do you mind sharing how much was the shipping to get the inktense pencils from cult pens to the US? If you don’t want to say in this public arena I totally understand. I’m just getting impatient but I need to know the shipping cost because I’m on a disability budget. Thanks so much. 😊
Hi Heather !! Of coarse i dont mind !! I believe it was cheaper now than it used to be ! But i think it was around 75 bucks total if im not mistaken, something like that ! I just couldn’t wait anymore haha . Im so glad you liked the video !! Ya i think its never too late to work on a page or change it , its your book do whatever you want with it ! Happy coloring hun
Re: the bubbles, why not use the white gel pen or paint pen to draw the circles first instead of the pencil. Then after it dries, use the inktense to colour the bubbles in.
