Gorgeous pages Maia! Since you really love scrapbooking and have a big collection of papers & supplies (as I saw from your coloring room tour), you should consider decorating your work surface that you film on. Following from Hawaii.
Hi !!! Oooo Hawaii !! Ive always wanted to visit !! Hopefully one day! My husband is an avid surfer so im sure we will go there one day! Thanks for the idea !! I do have a lot of scrapbook paper from my scrapping days, i am a paper lover and collector ! Lol. The thing about my work surface and craftroom is i like it to be a white canvas and not too busy on the eyes, that helps me focus better on my work! But i think its a nice idea to maybe make a mat or something for filming videos , What do you think? Maybe i can make my own from scrapbook paper lol. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to comment and have a wonderful coloring week !

Hi Maia. I super curious about the oil pastels? You didn't really say in your clip - did you like them? Are they sticky? Does the oil blead through the paper? Why did you stop and go to distress ink? Too time consuming? Do tell please. Love the rant and the little inktense tutorial. Have a fantastic week. 👍🤓🖖👽
Hiiiii !! Yes you’re right i didn’t say in my clip because im still experimenting, also i explained more in my last coloring update, the one before this. But ya i switched to the distress oxide becasue it would be too time consuming to do that whole background in the oil pastels, in my finished pages illl show how i finished this page, i added some more patches of oil pastel on top of the distress oxide to make it more cohesive, it came out really nice. But yes i do really liike the oil pastels for certain papers and certain backgrounds ! Thanks commenting and watching my friend

Wow using a qtip for oil pastels. I will try. I usually put paper towel on my finger and blend. I love learning tips from you.😀

Agreed, I don't like AI coloring books either. The details are lacking. I always appreciate the human effort it takes to produce a well-drawn image.
