@@YaYaFGAN I agree with you. This fictitious story was full of holes. I think it was edited by third graders. Way too many names. This made NO sense at all. I will never listen to one of these stories again. I hope nobody who heard this thinks they are stupid because they didn't get it. There was nothing to get.
Exactly! And why did only two girls get sick? I initially guessed the grandmother might have put something in them that only her granddaughter was allergic to. But not knowing which brownie her granddaughter would eat, the sleeping medication would need to be the same in all the brownies.
I really admire this wonderful, courageous girl Rachel. I hope she is NOT becoming a nurse - a pawn in the abusive system of 12 and 24 hour shifts, working until she drops dead from exhaustion ... just earning enough to survive ... No, she should allow "her light to shine" and work as a profiler or criminal investigator either self-employed or for the FBI (well , that's again "a system" one has to be wary about) ...
Need to add something at the end to explain what the father and grandmother were up to and why they what they did.
Well, I must truly be really oblivious. What was the grandmother’s reason??
Yes! They never really explained what the mother & son were up to that warranted blackmail and poisoning.

Why on earth did the girls eat the brownies knowing they were poisoned? They could have just handed them to the police

It's like listening to a first grader reading. It's not like people really talk.

How would they know that they were poison
Don’t forget to up the play back speed. I choose 1.25.
Really slow reader!
It helps to increase the speed to 1.5 speed. It’s still understandable and doesn’t drag.
Too slow.
Monotonous reader
