You are absolutely correct! Union and intersection are two important concepts in mathematics and it is great that you were able to identify that in our video. We are happy to offer these videos for free to help students learn more about mathematics.
Thanks for the positive feedback! We're glad you're enjoying the videos and hope they're helping you out in school. Keep up the good work and let us know if you have any other questions!
"Subtract" is the word. Though the obsolete word "substract" did exist, any occurrence you see these days is most likely just a common mistake, formed by analogy either with "abstract" or with other languages whose corresponding words do have two 's's
Thankyou dear🥰 for making us remember the fact. I was known to this but had forgotten the fact. If everybody posts such useful comments, then studies will become far more easy. Education should be available even in the inner depths of comment section 😍
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're so happy to hear that you're enjoying our videos and that they're helping you out with your math studies. Keep up the good work and we'll keep making videos that we hope will make learning fun for you.
Thank you so much! We're so glad you enjoyed it. We hope our videos are helping you learn something new. Keep watching and let us know if you have any questions or feedback!
The universal set is a set which consists of all the elements or objects, including its own elements. It is represented by just a symbol ‘U’. But the union of sets is an operation performed on two sets, say A and B, which results in a set that has all elements belonging either to set A and set B or both. The operand of union of set is given by ‘∪’. For example, Set A = {a,b,c} and set B={c,d,e} and U={1,2}. Therefore, the universal set for set A, B and U itself will be; U ={a,b,c,d,e,1,2} You can see, U is also a set which collectively shows all the elements of A, B and of itself. Now, the union of set A and B is given by: A∪B = {a,b,c,d,e}
Thank you for your comment! We're glad that our videos are helping you better understand union sets. We recommend you draw and color the sets that do not have common elements separately. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Thank you for watching our educational videos! We're glad you found them helpful in understanding the concepts. We hope you continue to find our videos useful in your studies!
Thank you for your question! The universal set is the set of all things being considered, while the union is the set of all things in both sets being considered. So, in short, the union will always be a subset of the universal set.
Thank you for watching our educational videos and for taking the time to write a comment! We're glad you found the video helpful and that you were able to get the answer you were looking for. We hope you'll continue watching our videos and that you'll find them useful in your studies. Thank you again for your feedback!

What is difference b/w universal and union set ??
The universal set is a set which consists of all the elements or objects, including its own elements. It is represented by just a symbol ‘U’. But the union of sets is an operation performed on two sets, say A and B, which results in a set that has all elements belonging either to set A and set B or both. The operand of union of set is given by ‘∪’.
For example, Set A = {a,b,c} and set B={c,d,e} and U={1,2}. Therefore, the universal set for set A, B and U itself will be;
U ={a,b,c,d,e,1,2}
You can see, U is also a set which collectively shows all the elements of A, B and of itself.
Now, the union of set A and B is given by:
A∪B = {a,b,c,d,e}

Thank you for your comment! We're glad that our videos are helping you better understand union sets. We recommend you draw and color the sets that do not have common elements separately. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Sir jo union hoga vo universal set ki tarah kam karega na??
Thank you for your question! The universal set is the set of all things being considered, while the union is the set of all things in both sets being considered. So, in short, the union will always be a subset of the universal set.
