this logic is exactly what led to most games being bad on release, because they knew people like you would just excuse this behavior with this "it'll get better eventually" mentality, completely forgetting that a product is supposed to be good on day one. When are payday fans gonna start standing up for themselves?
@@infu7248 I've been vocal since the word go but it gets tiresome mentioning the same points like how offline mode is already in the game it's just a matter of fudging the files and all that. acknowledge the good AND bad so that credit is justly given, like I'll even gripe the MP5 which is a legacy weapon given to use as DLC sets forward a bad standard for other legacy "tools of the trade"

Since you're a dev, i just want to say: godspeed dev team, godspeed. I'm really glad to see that there is willingness to continue despite all. I really want you guys to succeed, PD2 is one of my gaming cornerstones and seeing the launch pf PD3 hurt me real bad, to the point I had to distance myself to all things Payday for months, but now I can start to come back to it. Hope everything goes well and that the right decisions are made, i wanna be back and enjoy payday like i always wanted 🙏💪
Great video! I just wanted to say that the song at the end of the video (comes on around 12:20) was a great song choice to act as a send off for the video. Keep up the good work man!
I know the price of the dlc's were adjusted, but videogames in a third world country are crazy expensive, for example i was only able to get most of Payday 2 dlc's when Overkill made that huge bundle and it was on sale. Payday 3 is still on it's first steps to become a community favorite, but sadly a lot of people will have to hold at least 3 to 4 year's (surely will get there, right?) when Overkill decides to bundle these dlc's and maybe put it on sale.
In terms of my thoughts on both the dlc and the update, I'm more than happy with everything. I'm thrilled. The Boys In Blue heist is definitely one of Payday 3's best heists we've gotten so far. The layout is great, the objectives are engaging and the variations between loud and stealth make for an enjoyable experience. I especially love the dialogue between the cops and the civilians, especially the Captain when you place the donuts, the voice actors certainly had fun recording lines for this heist. The weapons are simply amazing, it was nice to see the Compact-5 return from Payday 2 albeit under a different name now, same goes for the Gewehr 3 battle rifle, and the revolver is a beast, it reminds me so much of the Bronco from Payday 2. The cosmetic items are top notch, the outfits are brilliant and so are the masks, both free and dlc ones. Seeing Clover return is the cherry on top, as an Irishman myself and a big fan of Aoife Duffin and Clover, this was really nice to see her return and sporting a brand new rifle to boot. Overall, the update was outstanding. I'm impressed, if this is what they can do for all future dlc and updates then I'd definitely say Payday 3 is well on its way to a better future.
The heist is great. The atmosphere feels different than most of the other heists and tells a great story. It feels like a step in the right direction for future heists. I love how both loud and stealth feel like different heist so you get a two for one. Overall a good update, but hope the next few updates are as good and contain more contemt
I love this game so far, I couldn’t bear the progression system at launch but the progression update brought me back. I really Believe that this game will eventually live up to the potential of payday 2 once the update schedule becomes more frequent and the QOL changes take place, love the videos :) ❤
I love the effort they are putting to make heists both stealth and loud and I must say I really like the fact that in this heists the 2 approaches feel very different, almost like 2 different heists (like you said), and not like surphaze that feels mostly the same both in stealth and loud. Let's see what they cooked for next month with land of the free :]
WAY better than Syntax Error. Tailor pack is... whatever but heist and weapon pack are great. Both free guns are fantastic too, I hope we'll be able to use parts of Clover's preset separately at some point, that scope has to be my new favorite scope in the game.
this DLC for someone who lives in a 3rd world country is still in my eyes still expensive but i understand that PD3 and PD2 dlc pricing are different because of inflatiopn and etc but lets start with my review on this dlc. The 5 new weapons are one word, german beauty with some american apetisers. the new smg - fun, easy and balanced, wouldnt say its an boring weapon but i would say compared to the others guns...yeah it kinda is forgoten compared to the new AR and Pistol. the 2 new AR - QR is a good preset and i hope other characters like Joy or Hoxton have one day weapons pre sets that match theyre personality, like the MPX having some of Joy charm sprinkled into it or Hoxton assault rifle being something "meta" so new players like me doesnt have to grind to upgrade our guns. The LMG - fun,its free too so it kinda balnces out for being an "meta" gun. The revolver - kinda dissapointed a bit,its strong but something feels off using it,like an feeling that the other 2 revolvers have...idk it just feels like it wasnt supposed to be an revolver. Tailor packs is okay, not that bad...just basic. The heist is amazing and your ideas for the heist could have been even more amazing, maybe one of the ideas i would like to see is something like the door in the mountain master heist VIP door, you have the cinematic one and the more easy one,i wouldnt have mind something like us having to use either C4 or thermite for the higher difficulties as an favour you could unlock. over all i would give this DLC an album ranking of Alice in chains - Dirt/Alice in chains - Jar of flies (8/10)
I think the heist is definitely in my top 3 (up there with Rock The Cradle and Gold & Sharke), I enjoy using all the weapons with the revolver being my favorite, the tailor pack looks nice so I might run them sometimes, I really enjoy Clover, and Solo mode feels really good with the reset-randomization it has so you can’t fail, reset, and know where everything is.
One thing I learned about the two mandatory drillings in loud: Not actually mandatory, the red card-readers are still active, so if you get your hands on the red keycard, you can just use that. (At least on the difficulties I have played on)
Really looking forward to seeing new web-series slowly getting back on the mainstream! Also, let's not forget Houston Breakout in July. (4th of July Pack perhaps?)
For me personally, I really enjoyed BIB. But what I enjoyed the most was that I could play with many different people. Over the last few weeks I've made a lot of new friends, and especially yesterday and today. I remember PD2 fondly and at least 70-80% of my friend list comes from there. PD3 severely lacked co-op before quickplay arrived. You'd just have to guess which heist is being played frequently, or coordinate on dead forums in the hope that someone responds. I won't lie, SBZ definitely did screw up many parts of the development. But I don't think it was with intent. I do sincerely believe that SBZ wants PD3 to succeed in the long term and that they love the franchise as much as we do. I'm especially happy that more players are finally checking out PD3 again. The delayed release did get me worried a bit though, but I saw that the reception has overall been well. I just hope so much that PD3 makes a comeback and that we'll get many years of content to come. I'll be there waiting for it. We overcame the 6 months of drought, I think the dawn has arrived and finally we're getting what the game has always needed. I'm rather optimistic.
your ideas for variation are really good, but im not a fan of having ovk weapons in the armory as it would be overpowered but instead maybe they should tease some new ones, who knows when they will make a new ovk weapon, and i dont know much about "before" the dlc cause i bought the game 3 days before the dlc came out, but i really do enjoy the heist with friends its really fun
We need a Music box that allows us to listen to all payday soundtracks. Especially some of Gustavo's soundtracks still work in Payday 3. New UI for the assault phases. Instead of a font, lets make something animated that goes along the beat of the current soundtrack playing.
I really like this update. The heist is very fun in loud/stealth, the weapons are good but balanced. There are just a lot of bugs on other heists that irritate me. First in the heist on the penthouse the main door doesnt open normally, the zipline bag doesnt seem to spawn and cloakers seem to be teleporting. But i hope these bugs will be filtered out. And i to really like the spinning revolver animation. i bought the gold edition yesterday and dont regret it.
did anyone else noticed what's on the end of the boys in blue launch trailer? there's picture of someone, and a name franklin steele that's houston teased asf
The update is good, solo mode works well expect for favors not working, the new heist feels different than the other heists in the game, which I feel like is needed due to the low amount of heists in the game, but I feel like the game still needs a new skill system, more functional crew AI, better balcing , and more free content to recover its player base.
The update is good, I personally think that the new weapons are the highlight of the DLC although i feel like another secondary weapon could've been added alongside the kick ass revolver we got, But there is one glaring problem that PD3 really needs to address and that problem is having some sort of daily or weekly challenge system to allow people to work together towards completing goals and striving towards things because currently there is no incentive for the player base to specifically get together and work towards something especially with the removal of 95% of the challenges and there being only 22 achievements in the game, I really hope they address and implement something like this into the game because if it's just constantly going to be playing the heists for money and C Stacks with nothing else to focus on and achieve then unfortunately i feel as though a lot of the community will stop playing a lot quicker after each one of these updates is released for the game because of there being no other reason to continue playing once they have attained everything the DLC has to offer and have fully lvl'd all of the new weapons and this is including myself, Me and my friend group were tallking about this major issue tge game has as well and were saying that after we have all the weapons max level were probably going to go back to playing orher games and it was really sad to hear because i want PD3 to be a game where we want to play it nearly every day to complete things and feel rewarded for completing whatever it is we are working towards, They need to make sure it is worth people's time and effort as well though because if they just put the rewards as being money or C Stack then that will majorly shoot themselves in the foot because it's just more grinding for money and C Stack they need to make the rewards worth going for if they ever do implement something like i've just talked about into the game
This heist is awesome! But there's a couple things bothering me with PD3. The escape is totally killing the immersion. Just stand in a square and that's that. The heists need a proper escape. And the great RNG in PD2 has to be implemented in PD3 to make the heists more varied and less predictable. Will be interesting to see the upcoming heists and I'm convinced that they will make PD3 really great!
Not quite "we're so back", but to follow the race metaphor, I see it as the game tripped over its shoelaces and hit the ground right out of the gate, and every update since then has been it crawling forwards, trying to regain its stamina, whilst Boys in Blue is it finally picking itself up and dusting itself off. It's not quite back in the race yet, but it's in a better state than ever.
I haven't gotten over the heist yet but it really isn't anything special, it's just decent but I'm just happy that we get anything, made me realize how much gustavo is carrying this game
Now we just need the content to back up this great update imo I love the heist we have now but I want more hopefully those 2 dlcs before September supply
Imo biggest problem with the heists (not only Boys in Blue) is their replayability which can't be improved just by changing the objectives location, this formula is a bit outdated. I would like to see the "unexpected" changes of plans, which alter the heist's trajectory and not make you do additional work. We've seen it already in the past...
I played the heist through a friend who bought it and I sadly have to say that I'm underwhelmed by it. The soundtrack is pretty good, but not good enough to make me turn my volume completely up. The weapon pack is fine, but overshadowed by the current "meta weapons" (E.g. the SA). The tailor pack is really good this time around, no complaints there. Back to the heist itself, sadly the objectives don't feel that special (I can just talk for loud, haven't played stealth yet), it's fine that we have to wait for the winch to finish or van to lower, and actually there being no timer on it is good for creating tension and hoping that the objective will be done really soon, but then also the game is too easy in its current state which just get rid of the tension (Yes you could challenge yourself, but it should be challenging from the start). Possible improvements could be: making the parking lot bigger so it becomes more tense when crossing to move the gold, create an objective where you have to stop the cops from following your escape (Like the spike strips in 99 Boxes, maybe something cool as a hiphop parade as it would fit the bronx vibe). If anyone disagrees or has a different idea / something to add, I would love to hear it all.
Talking about "meta" guns - you simply don't have to play with them. Both g3, mp5 and lmg realy powerfull gun. G3 almost best rifle in game (only mag size is real problem), mp5 simply best smg, and lmg... it's perfectly works as it intended.
The heist slightly disappointed me with the lack of variation and the slightly off pacing in loud but overall its still a very fun heist, whoever is responsible for the cop spawning logic in loud on this one, good job mate, on overkill it can create so many tricky situations, its great. And the LMG? Its viable and fun.
been playing since beta payday 1 . love payday. with that said this is a nice start but honestly its not much. more is needed but if this is maybe just this heist for the month then its a nice hold over. i would even be happy if they just released a bunch of legacy heists. id love to do bohdis heist. i dont see this 1 heist being enough content in this day and age of instant gratification to keep people engaged. heists take a long time to create i get that but 1 is not going to hold people over long which is why i say release a bunch of legacy in the time being. its not much work.
I don't know if it's me but I just don't find this game to be fun. I reinstalled and played a round and it just didn't grab me. It feels extremely soulless compared to Payday 2, with worse gunplay.
No we are not back. Honestly i’m waiting a year till it is maybe the game it was supposed to be at release. Drip fed content isn’t enough and I got the gold edition
Am I the only one who thinks there was absolutely no need for payday 3? I played PD2 a lot...like a lot, but it got boring due to lack of content and updates, but PD3??? It wasnt needed, just update pd2
It’s actually surprising how bad this game is and how many shills are here to stand for it, they literally refuse to add a offline mode and are drip feeding you guys content without actually making the game better in any feasible way. Oh yeah I forgot these are the same “people” that think making a horribly unfinished, tedious, and unplayable game and then start drip feeding “updates” is signs of “dedication” and “commitment” to the game. Payday 2 will ALWAYS be better lol.
I’ve completely given up all hope on payday 3 at this point. Such a boring watered down experience to 2 its night and day. Even on low crime sprees I see double to triple the amount of action even a quick heist compared to any mission in 3. Re installed 2 and immediately saw servers full of people doing everything possible. So much from 2 missing completely from 3 no going infamous after hitting max level, being forced to use a pistol as a secondary even though in 2 you could use whatever you want, no duel wielding , the removal of perk decks, the black market being gone, courier packages in missions are completely. I don’t mind watching gameplay for payday 3 but I have zero intentions of ever picking the game back up now or in the distant future. As long as payday 2 is a thing that’s more than good enough for me. Don’t have many hours logged on 3 but I’m pretty it’s too late to get refunded especially a digital download. Lmao payday 3 has less than 1500 people on in the last hour. Compared to payday 2 nearly having 15 thousand people on last hour. Give me my refund deep silver
@@furryman0213payday 3 is cheeks currently lmao cope. Payday 2 is murdering 3 having nearly 15k people on in the last hour payday 2 had less than 1.5k people on in the last hour. Hands down crime boss and payday 2 curb stomp the living sh it out of 3 in its current state
Why would anyone come back for this? If this is the kind of content you want to see after all this waiting that is sad but I hope you have fun with it. The gameplay content is just not there and I don't think it will ever catch up.
Update is again underwhelming af. All of this should have been free but they lock it behind a paywall while everyone already paid 40€ and still got a 5€ game. This game is a scam
I can’t lie I will never understand why people have been so upset about offline mode. Like seriously you all act like you don’t have internet in 2024. Every game that isn’t a story game these days you need internet to play and no one complains about them. This is the least of their concerns if you all got Payday to focus on improving more important parts of the game from the start the game would be in a much better place.
because no offline means that once the devs inevitably shut the game down, you won't be able to access the game anymore. A game which you paid for, by the way. It sets a bad precedent that paves the way to a wave of always-online services that will prevent you from enjoying the game if the devs feel like giving you the middle finger. What I don't understand are people like you making nonsense up about an entire industry. No, many games aren't always-online, and they're better off that way.
Not back but facing the right direction and crawling to it
We are so...starting to get there..

I would like to see the "unexpected" changes of plans, which alter the heist's trajectory and not make you do additional work. We've seen it already in the past...
The player base immediately lowered after a day by half
Keep up the good work 👍
I really like your pd3 news.
WE'RE SO BACK RAAHHHH
It's a true bacon of hope
I think we are back😎
#boysinbluesweep
Clover is my favorite heister in payday 3 so far
the best update since launch
Remember Crime Boss is cheaper and have more content to play.
thats cool 👍
Solo mode not pausing. There is a mod to pause the game in solo mode but I like to keep my games mod free.
I might have to give PD3 another shot then...
I loved the update but the amount of personality and voice lines Clover has compared to all the other characters kinda pisses me of lol
The queen deserves the most
Who is ur fav heister/who would you love to come to payday 3
Ain’t that swell
Great video 😊
They have until September
been playing since beta payday 1 . love payday. with that said this is a nice start but honestly its not much. more is needed but if this is maybe just this heist for the month then its a nice hold over. i would even be happy if they just released a bunch of legacy heists. id love to do bohdis heist. i dont see this 1 heist being enough content in this day and age of instant gratification to keep people engaged. heists take a long time to create i get that but 1 is not going to hold people over long which is why i say release a bunch of legacy in the time being. its not much work.
I don't know if it's me but I just don't find this game to be fun. I reinstalled and played a round and it just didn't grab me. It feels extremely soulless compared to Payday 2, with worse gunplay.
Nice Video 😊
No we are not back. Honestly i’m waiting a year till it is maybe the game it was supposed to be at release. Drip fed content isn’t enough and I got the gold edition
Guys to play solo mode, do you need to login in the game to play it? or now i can skip de login part?
I'm thinking ABOUT Buy it
I miss Bain:(
the game is actually fun now but its a shame the player count is always below 1000
they need to chill out with all these damn cloakers spawning every 5 sec smh
Is the weapon pack free?
Clover😎😎😎😎
Am I the only one who thinks there was absolutely no need for payday 3? I played PD2 a lot...like a lot, but it got boring due to lack of content and updates, but PD3??? It wasnt needed, just update pd2
Same.
I love it all except for 1 thing, i do not like the music for this hiest, it feels like a vanilla ice diss track with all the record scratches
You need to still pay for half of the game😁
It’s actually surprising how bad this game is and how many shills are here to stand for it, they literally refuse to add a offline mode and are drip feeding you guys content without actually making the game better in any feasible way. Oh yeah I forgot these are the same “people” that think making a horribly unfinished, tedious, and unplayable game and then start drip feeding “updates” is signs of “dedication” and “commitment” to the game. Payday 2 will ALWAYS be better lol.
Offline mode is coming later this year 👍
i mean when did they refuse to add an online mode exactly?
It's cool still not enough better to play Crime boss now. Sorry payday 3
Hi MA SISTERS
Blue boys
red
Give me my refund deep silver
thats cool man 👍
Real
Bots. Bollu 😎😎😎😎😎
New maps already boring. We want more!!!
we are about 10 updates away from 3 being as fun as 2
I'll stay on Crime Boss Rockay City, thanks.
Cool, its all down to prefer
@@furryman0213payday 3 is cheeks currently lmao cope. Payday 2 is murdering 3 having nearly 15k people on in the last hour payday 2 had less than 1.5k people on in the last hour. Hands down crime boss and payday 2 curb stomp the living sh it out of 3 in its current state
@@Raidernation1994 like i said it all comes down to preference, we can have our opinions
I luv bayunks
Since the challenges has been taken there's no reason for grinding if u are lvl150 👎🏻
The game disappointed every and delivered nothing new?
Hell yea boys we are getting dlcs
cool?
Why would anyone come back for this?
If this is the kind of content you want to see after all this waiting that is sad but I hope you have fun with it.
The gameplay content is just not there and I don't think it will ever catch up.
Update is again underwhelming af. All of this should have been free but they lock it behind a paywall while everyone already paid 40€ and still got a 5€ game. This game is a scam
lol
