Being a lady, i always think of such sceneries en i try to put myself in such situations..The fact is, most of young women think of young single mum as 'brand new second hands' en its too difficult to come upfront with such labels since most men will want alot of compromise thinking you dont deserve. Secondly, most young mums dont want to introduce the kid to several 'daddies', i guess some take time to learn their partners and prove them worthy or not....All the same, for me my kid (s) will be number 1. I commit to them and not any other new blood.
But you can tell the man you have a kid even if you don't introduce them immediately. Atleast he will know what he is getting into
But 3 years with a guy and you still want to say you haven't learned your guy!! If it was for 2, 3 months there you can be understood. But more than 1 year and not introducing your child to me, means you never cared how I will feel.
