Hi, thanks for the video. I am trying to use the filled map with data set comes in lat/long. Whenever I drop those fields they are aggregated as average. Not sure what that means, I am trying to show the location of the dots. Note I don't have a location to use that is why i am using lat/long
Hi Isabella - great video! Very explanatory... I can't find any reference to Microsoft discontinuing the map visuals, can you tell me the link, please?
Great Video ,Thanks for information .I have one query regarding shape maps ,where we can selectively fill color for eg (different districts of state ) . Let us consider one country which has multiple States ,when we hover our mouse pointer ,tooltips option helps us and gives various information like name of state ,population etc as per the column name entered in tooltips but is there a way that we can get at least some information (eg name ) for every state displayed automatically without us hovering over the pointer to get information . Please let me know if something could be done in this case ,and if i am able to explain properly .
Thank you very much, well explained. Maybe next time explain also how to feed (correctly) the map with geo data. Especially if Power BI does not recognize all places. Or the wrong erea?
@@LighthouseAnalytix I don't know 😕 That's why I asked. All I know is that they are very closely related. I know that if you know 1. The other ones becomes waaaaay easier. Personally I also think DATA ANALYTICS is the core.
I think I will learn GIS first. Then DATA ANALYTICS. My understanding is that GIS is DATA heavy. So learning it before learning DATA ANALYTICS. Will help with DATA ANALYTICS. Do you agree?
I am a beginner at Power BI and I admire the way you explain topics and make it so easy and relative!
