If I had known when I was young that there were all of these wonderful things to learn........ Youth really is wasted on the young. They are so lucky today to have youtube to learn about these things. I have a lifetime behind me that I feel I could have learned so much more........ But I am learning it now, so better late than never. And thank you Aoyama Square for showing us these beautiful people and their skill and excellence in all areas of craft and art.

really this stencil paper...it is incredible! all cutting by hand!!! wow!! japanese kimono fabric are so beautiful and subtle, every piece of this fabric is an artwork.

Are all those stencils hand-cut? I've seen other examples but these are totally extraordinary. I really can't imagine anyone ever having such patience! I loev the series. :-)
