    Wonder how those synchronized transmissions held up because of my understanding is they don’t so that’s why truck transmissions have to be non synchronized

      They held up great. My neigbour still has the original gearbox in his 1970 volvo f88.

      Only Americans couldnt figure that out. European makes had an Eaton non synchronised transmission on the option list untill the late 70s. When air assisted clutches were introduced, nobody cared for eatons in Europe anymore.

      You have to realize there is a huge difference between American trash products and European superior engineering. 😅😂

      Skulle nog våga påstå att utvecklingen gått bakåt… mer skit som krånglar på dagens maskiner men bekvämare att köra…
