You're rocking it! I use waxy cereal bag liners as a catcher under my paintings, made a lot of interesting skins from using it. It's like the old Colorforms I played with as a child. You can also glue them to cardstock after vanishing them, and use them to make greeting cards. You're so generous with your time! Thank you!
Wonderful ideas for using what some people toss away. Thank you Tammy for a great video.
I just found your videos yesterday, and I'm binge watching.
I would seriously Love to spend a couple hours making jewelry with you.

❤ love this!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Thank you Tammy. I’ll definitely try the resin. You’ve taught just another valuable lesson. 😊
You are so generous in sharing your techniques, right up to the latest. I am driven nuts by tubers who post videos of what they do without giving the formula they used to get there. You never fail to provide instructions down to the finest detail. Thank you from a very grateful follower.
Wow, thank you so much. A few years ago I saw someone do a flower with the skins. It was quite large and just awesome. How about you try that? I have tons of leftover paint in jars…I am going to try this but on a bigger scale. I am not good yet at consistently getting cells, but I will certainly try! You are such a motivational teacher!
Tammy, this is the first time I've watched your vids, I'm new to fluid art. I have to say that I appreciate you and your humor, you remind me of me, which makes me giggle even more. Thank you for sharing, you are amazing!
I use the plastic from the canvas. Works great
Very nice. I'm always amazed by some of the beautiful skins just from drips of paint. These are great. xoxoxoxoxo
Hi Tammy! Thanks for sharing these! I was looking for more info on making jewelry from skins and wallah, here you were! I really appreciate the links too, so helpful for someone just getting started and not knowing exactly what sizes of bezels, cabochon and etc that work together. Definitely a $ saver and time saver to have the links! Bless your heart for sharing your skills with us!
Your special talent is great. Want to try doing this to add to my crafting. I will have to watch
Again to see how you did it. Need to get some of this product if not to expensive. Thanks for your turtorial.
Great video, Tammy! So many fun projects to try😍
Thank you for showing this - I love listening to your videos !! I have learned so much from them.
My thanks for this. I want to begin teaching some simple classes at a senior community. I’ve taught lots of complicated jewelry classes and easy paint pouring pouring classes. So this project would make a great, easy and fun 2 part class that everyone would enjoy. ❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing Tammy! 😀
Thanks You ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ty for sharing, amazing tech...
These are gorgeous! Silly Tammy, your "O Ring" is a Jump Ring. To buy them this is what they are called. Sometimes Split Rings. Just to clarify for your viewers. 😁
I feel your pain 😂 I am so butterfingered it boggles my mind.
AMAZING 🤩 thankyou Yvonne Scotland xx
The green skin is beautiful
Those skin colors are beautiful ❤
Your an amazing sweet lady!! ❤ sharing your talents.
I haven't done a pour in a long time so I'm out of practice. Watching this video on making skins was so interesting but I don't know what a cell activator is. Great job!
There are different things you can add to your paint before you pour it to make cells- Floetrol, silicone oil, etc. Different artists use different additives, depending on what they’ve tried and what works best for them.😊
Tammy thank you so much for sharing this amazings techniques and ideas! thank you!!!🌺
PS i love what you do with the skins on the pendants.they are gorgeous.
thank you for sharing so many tips and tricks with us all.
I learned so much!
Thank you very useful
I make jewelry and magnets out of my skins. I use the cabochons. You gave me some good ideas. Your so talented.

These are so beautiful . I wonder if you could decorate on a purse?
Those are gorgeous ❤❤ and there is something addicting about peeling paint like.peeling nail polish off of your nails asmr-ish 😂
genius ideas
I too had a hard time with the music level. Painting is beautiful
Thank you Tammy for another brilliant class ......lots of ideas and insperation
Your such a wealth of information, recently discovered you. Like the size of your cake palette knife. Already suggested on another video to use Chapter Headings and or timestamps so you can jump easily to that information.
❤🙏🏾🥰thank you so mush.
I'm a new subbie. This video came up on my HOME FEED.
OK,...this is exactly what I've been looking for. I love how paint pouring looks, with all the lacey cells. And wanted to incorporate it into my handmade journals. So it seems this is perfect technique to use in a mixed media spread. Or make dangles to embellish a journal. These are gorgeous. I definitely need to try this. TFS Austin TX USA
This is the first time I viewed one of your videos and I really enjoyed it. So pretty and creative!
I usually use the skins to make other artworks (if they are big enough)
Resin gives a professional appearance to the finish. Did you use a heat or torch gun on your skins to eliminate any bubble, prior too leaving to dry? Fabulous idea, I've always had a fancy for skins.
Those would make nice tiles
❤❤❤
Hi, my first time on your channel. I am going to have to check out your paint recipes to make the skins - they are really quite beautiful. In my experience while I am a big fan of Glossy Accents - I have been using it for years - I would probably recommend resin for long term durability. Have you tried cutting paint skins with a die cutting machine? I have a number of punches, but I was just wondering about using dies. One can also use the cabochons as elements in bead embroidery as well. (I've used polymer clay cabs with beads before, so I am thinking this might be an idea too). As well, I watched a video from Carolyn Dube where she collects leftovers from paint pours on small gel plates (there by making your skin on a gel plate) Just so many crafty thoughts!
Save your skins, never heard of such a thing. I have so much to learn.
I put the glass cab cover over the skin so I can see exactly what looks best through it and then cut around it with an Exacto. Works for more odd shapes like a long rectangle. I do my pours on their own little silicone sheet so they peel easily.
I hadn't thought to use the shaper for spreading E6000. That's always a problem to spread it out - thanks :)
So more and more paint skins. So many things to do with them. I've done these for along time but looking for some new projects if anybody has any others.
you can also roll paint skin into beads (much like you would make paper beads). been doin it for years
Hi Tammy….am LOVING your channel! I purchased the pop sockets and the large cabochons from your links. The cabochons are much wider than the pop socket. I am worried it will pull off easily. Are the cabochons you use same circumference as your pop sockets? Thank you for all you do. You are pretty amazing.
I have Yupo, so that's awesome. I've made plenty of skins in my time, but they were always "leftovers" rather than intentionally done. I'll try it!
Just a question. Why do you feel the need to back the skin? I mean, you're gluing it down to something flat anyway, so why do you need extra strength? Seems it would be easier to manage any potential air bubbles that may get trapped with a thinner rather than a thicker piece. I used to cast eyeballs, and the thinner the colored part, the better for releasing the air bubbles.
Besides, if you just glue the skin down, you don't need to cover the card or whatever. Saves a step.
What cell activator did you use please?
This was an amazing and super helpful tutorial! Do you have video for the technique in 8:15, the gorgeous iridescent pendant that you said was foil? Is that aluminum foil you get at the grocery store with paint over it, or some kind of crinkled thin foil over another texture?
Just stumbled upon you Tammy and I am oh so glad!! You make things look fun while explaining everything perfectly! Subscribed right away. One question? What is the bloom method? Thanks so much and will be watching you regularly 😊
I really enjoyed your work. What do you use for the cell activator? Is it different from the black and white?
I watch video and thank you!!!
How had you get the bubble effect, it was when you added the white light color. Did you add something to the light color. Thank you for your time
I wonder if you can't leave them on the paper and cut them with a cricut?
Can you put the resin in a small squeeze bottle ?
Hi, I'm in Europe and I can't find the products, but what is the last paint u put with the spatula? Is paint mix with what other product?
Thank you very much for all your work and videos.
Hi, what do you use to create cells? My paint never gets good cells. Is that because I use already mixed pour paint? My canvas pour paints are so flat. Thanks. Your work is great. Mine 😢
❤
Which glass cabochons (small or large) fit the pop sockets?
Where they’re a bit pricy, I don’t want to order the wrong size
I have seen cabochon settings for jewelry, instead of bezel settings couldn't you use cabachon and a setting also?
What do you mean by ‘primary elements’? (Beginner here!)
i hope you wear a mask when using resin. I know of people that have done permanent damge to their lungs because of the toxic fumes. Be careful ok? cool ideas
Hi there. Where can I get one of those large palette knifes that you use in this video? TIA
Hi Tammy Love your channel. I learn so much. I live in Western Australia which is so isolated and would love to know what cell activator I can use. It seems so much of what the rest of the world uses, we can't buy here. I get so much for over Eastern Australia or USA. Please can you give me a name that I can buy from your Country.
thanks Adele
After you put the paint skins in the cabochon, can you use a permanent marker to put an initial on it before you put the bezel on top? I hope you understand what I'm trying to say! 😊
Yes. I've drawn a tiny heart on mine before and it worked out great. Just make sure that the permanent marker is COMPLETELY dried before applying any adhesive to it.
Paint applied to cheesecloth could be made into purses
How much do these items sell for? whats the profit margin?
