Amen!! I'm so grateful for prison reform myself! I've been active in Yokefellows at my local prison for the last 15 years. Some of the men I've met in my time on the "inside" were with the wrong people at the wrong time at a very young age. They ended up with life sentences because someone they were with made a horrible decision, and they were found guilty by default. There are men that sit at my table that have grown old in prison, 60 or more years, and they never did anything to deserve a conviction. These men have become spiritual fathers to the younger men in the prison system, leading them in the ways of the Lord. I keep reminding them of how much God is using them! The devil may have planted them there, but God allowed it so He could draw them closer to Him. Now they are the light bearers in the prison system where sin, disparity and hopelessness reign. They are using this time to shepherd others in the ways of Christ through scripture and prayer. Thank you for your witness and for standing up for what is right in America. God bless you, and God bless this great country we live in, now and forever!

I have listened to DC Talk and Newsboys since the early 90's when I was a child in middle school. Your music spoke to me and I still love it to this day. This video, however, broke my heart. The sample size I’ve got is my day to day life, nothing more, nothing less. I still remember a time (it was just 2014) when it wasn’t that crazy to talk about politics or express a political view. Yeah you might get some stares, people might call you crazy, but at the end of the day people understood it was just your opinion. But the second Trump started running, this attitude changed entirely because he was a dividing candidate. His entire campaign was all name calling and fear mongering (Mexicans are rapists, Muslim ban, etc etc). And I’m not just talking about right vs left. I feel incredibly bad for all the republican candidates that he ran against. To your point about him revealing divides not starting them, that’s like saying Hitler didn’t create the hatred towards Jews, he just revealed it so he wasn’t that bad (please don’t take that too seriously, I’m just making a point, I don’t actually think he’s anything like Hitler). So yes, I 100% attribute that divisiveness to Donald Trump.... Obama started it?? Gimme a break man lol. I have listened to DC Talk and Newsboys since the early 90's when I was a child in middle school. Your music spoke to me and I still love it to this day. This video, however, broke my heart. I absolutely pray for the president, because I feel all our leaders could use God's guidance, but his words and actions are so far from all Christ has called us to be. He is not humble or kind or supportive of the least of us. I am happy for you and your family that your brother is having a second chance but there is so much more to our current president that is the opposite the compassion of Christ.

How is ordering peaceful protesters to be cleared away with tear gas so that he can hold up a bible Christian? Ordering children at the border to be separated from their parents who are then abused and neglected at the facilities they were housed in...in cages? Encouraging violence against protesters at your rallies or protesters in general Christian? How about attacking and mocking people who are different i.e. disabled, minorities/immigrants, foreign leaders/allies, dead people like John McCain, John Lewis and bullying people through Twitter? Encouraging sexual assault i.e. grabbing women by the p***y? Having multiple affairs including paying those having an affair with to keep quiet? Conning people out of money/Fraud i.e. Trump University, failing to pay employees, contractors etc. Expressing he has no problem with violent White Supremacist groups but has a problem with BLM?
The list goes on and on. He is not this amazing man of God but an expert manipulator/Con man who is using Christianity for votes. It was his intention right along to dupe people, he has been doing it his whole life. If Christ came back he would be the person attacking Christ as a socialist, or bullying him for his display of compassion, love for others, forgiveness etc.
Some other examples include him refusing to help people in natural disasters whom you disagree with i.e. California wild fires, Puerto Rico hurricanes etc, or actively trying to get rid of or reduce social safety nests like social security, food stamps, housing assistance etc for the poor, middle class or people with disabilities etc? Failing to take seriously a dangerous virus and espousing dangerous conspiracy theories and unproven treatments for it?
You really need to open your eyes and ears to who this "amazing man of God" truly is. Most of what spews from his mouth are lies, grand displays of narcissism and arrogance. I dont understand how you people who support him cant just accept that he doesnt have your best interests at heart, he truly only cares about his own self interest, power and $$.
You dont have to be a Democrat to see that Trump is a dangerous dictator who is hardly following the teachings of Christ as a professed Christian. Yes as Christians we arent perfect and we are all sinners, but its one thing to not be perfect/be a sinner, its another thing to be a narcissistic sociopath who doesnt give a crap about the feelings or lives of others, or failing to work with others, demonstrate compassion and empathy for those who are different from you.
