  • In this episode of the #JHBshow, Julia Hartley-Brewer talks to Posie Parker, aka the online blogger Kellie-Jay Keen - the scourge of trans activists.
As the founder of the campaign group Standing For Women, Kellie-Jay is the woman behind the poster campaign “Woman - noun, adult human female”.
She’s faced police questioning for her campaigning to protect the rights of women and girls in the face of the demands of trans activists, whether it be in loos, changing rooms, prisons or in competitive sport.
In a world where even Labour Party leadership candidates insist that men can self-identify as women without so much as a visit to the doctor, Kellie-Jay has been a fearless voice of common sense.
In this video podcast, Julia and Kellie-Jay discuss the threat of trans activism to women’s rights and safety, the thousands of children at risk from the rush to diagnose transgenderism and how trans athletes will destroy women’s sport.
Don’t forget to like, review, comment and subscribe to the Julia Hartley-Brewer RUclips channel so you don’t miss the next episode of the #JHBshow.

Not just "her children"! She's concerned about WOMEN & girls! She's concerned about their safety, privacy, & rights. She concerned about the efforts of gender ideology activists to deprive women of free speech. She's concerned about the transitioning of minors, not just her own kids. She's concerned about fairness in sports & opportunities & resources being taken from women by men who "identify" as women. You miss the point if you think she is just doing this for her daughter.

These two women could save British common sense and deserve our support. Because nobody cares what you do in the bedroom and never have . This proposition that men must be accepted as women if they choose (and they do choose) is the single biggest threat to our Mum's, sisters, aunts, wives, girlfriends, daughters and Grandmas. and it should be fought against.

@JD jitsu It's because they're afraid to get targeted and dog-piled on by the these people. Look at what happened to Maya Forstarter last year where she lost her job because she didn't buy into trans ideology and was vocal about it. And then JK Rowling when she said she stood by Maya Forstarter, she received a ton of hate and even though she's in a good spot financially where she can't be fired and black-listed, it's just an example of what can happen if one (especially a woman) is vocal about not buying into trans ideology. I do agree that more people should speak up if they genuinely don't believe in this stuff but at the same time, I can understand why some people are too afraid to.

TalkToTheBody femininity is forced upon women and then it is fetishized by men. Radical feminists always had a problem with compulsory femininity, there are entire books on that subject. The reason women can wear trousers is owed to the First Wave Feminists. The reason that women have religious restrictions on our clothing, hair, etc. and in some societies women are legally punished and killed for our clothing, is to emphasise the power differential between the oppressor and the oppressed. I agree with your point that heteronormative society is uncomfortable with either women or men refusing to adequately perform the stereotypes of their respective gender roles. However, women in trousers don’t get as much derision as do women with shaved heads who refuse makeup or the removal of all hair except head, brows and lashes. Butch lesbians get beaten up for how they look, female public figures are scrutinised and micromanaged into femininity. Just as men who want to dress creatively get derided for being “homos.” The clothing rules are rigid, as Naomi Wolf pointed out in “The Beauty Myth,” because they are meant to show the world who is in power and who is not. The most powerful in society are usually older wealthy (often white) men, who don’t have a requirement to look sexually appealing because of their power. Women and homosexual men still do not have the luxury of waltzing about looking however we want; powerful men can be bald, fat, hairy, wrinkled, grey-haired, dressed neck to ankles in a standardized suit & comfortable shoes, and makeup-free, and yet they get to own and run the world.
The fetish of dressing as a woman, lusting after extremely young women who overperform femininity, or having sex with a feminine young man or a transsexual man is a fetish of the oppressor class. Sheila Jeffreys has several presentations on YT and has written numerous books on the subject of femininity as a fetish of POWER.
There’s a lot more to this that won’t fit in a comments section, but I believe that due to that power difference and the outward significance of how one chooses to self-adorn, women recognise on some level that if their heretofore heterosexual husbands suddenly decide that wearing “women’s” clothing is something those husbands want to do, it’s more of a fetish than anything else. Not always, but more often than not.

Notice that when people say they are “born in the wrong body” it’s never about their hands, their eyes, their knees, their skin colour. It’s always about genitals.
I find the (imaginary) concept of being “born in the wrong body” to be extremely insulting to anyone born with a physical disability or, for example, an autoimmune disease. Are they meant to despise and reject their bodies as well? Many do, but many find pride and strength in the things about themselves that they cannot change; some get surgery or prosthetics or mechanical/technological assistance because they want the opportunity to function in the world with their differences. So many other groups of people with a common “dis”-ability have had to fight tooth and nail for acceptance, for reasonable accommodations, for necessary government funding, for wheelchair ramps, elevators, braille on signs, talking crosswalk signals, transportation, closed captioning, etc. and that’s simply to allow everyone to be able to participate and function in society. Unlike trans-identified men who are taking away women’s safe spaces, people with different physical needs aren’t rallying to have services taken AWAY from the physically able. To add a ramp doesn’t mean the stairs MUST be taken away from the majority of people who can use stairs. People who actually need accommodations have not even gained sufficient rights and funding and acceptance, and their needs are clearly seen and clearly determined by the medical community. They don’t “identify” as needing a wheelchair, they just NEED one.
Women, POC, LGB individuals, indigenous people, differently-abled people, homeless people, exploited children and others have not got anywhere NEAR the media attention and legal backing that transgender-identified people have drummed up in roughly ten years.

It is also not true that if a child threatens suicide you would "do everything you can if that's what they want to keep them alive". My adult son is a suicide survivor. I did not affirm his vulnerable thinking (which was nothing to do with trans) because his thought process was skewed and dysfunctional. I did not cater to his unhealthy focus on the circumstances that prompted his suicidal ideology. Rather, I employed crisis intervention methods per best practice. I validated him as a person separate from his crisis. I kept him busy attending to things that needed to be done until we could get him into a behavioral health hospital. I helped him re-direct his negative thoughts to a more positive effort: "Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can". I did not provide him with the tools and resources he required to complete his suicide even though he said that was what he wanted.
It is reasonable to address the modern trans issue as children, teens, and parents as perceiving trans as a popular move, as an accepted means towards acquiring social status and progressive points. This is an age group historically that is dominated by peer pressure and wanting to be liked and noticed. When anyone is in crisis - whether a child, a teen, young adult or any age, safety is a first priority. If safety is accepted as the priority, then parents would be far less likely to hastily agree to transitional "therapy" which does not hide that fact that they are literally experimenting on humans with no clue how powerful chemicals and irreversible procedures will generate unknown outcomes psychologically, physically, socially, and spiritually for their victims. Parents invest far more time price comparing a new car or researching the market for their investment account than they do "transitioning". What a travesty.
