Just a question but were would Adam and eve come in to the story of Jesus and Mary and the fact Jesus had a son with Mary what is Jesus sons name and why is he wrote out of history so to say
Hey BibleBrid, there are several incorrect and misleading answers in this video. On question 1) Adam and Eve were not created on the 6th day. All the different peoples of the world were created on the 6th day. Yes, God created more then just two people! In Genesis 2:4 to 2:8 God created “The Man” Adam. In Genesis 2:20 thru 2:23, this is where Eve was created. So, what is so special about Adam and Eve? See Luke 3:23 to 38 and you will have your answer. On question 4) The serpent in Genesis 3:1-6 is none other than Satan himself. See Revelation 12:9. This is not a talking snake in an apple tree! On question 7) Abel was the first born of Adam, not Cain! Then who is Cain’s father? In Genesis 4:16 through 24 we see the genealogy of Cain. But, beginning in Genesis chapter 5:1 through 32 we see Adam’s genealogy. If Adam was Cain father, then why is Cain and Adams genealogy different in the Bible? Also see, Matthew 13:35-40, John 8:42-44, and 1st Epistle John 3:12. This is where Cain’s father is found.
Hi Tim, thanks for your feedback. I take accuracy very seriously when it comes to making quizzes on the Bible. In the video, I cite the Bible for each answer. I looked over your Bible references and remain unconvinced of your interpretations. Here's why: For Question #1, In Genesis 2:5, a couple verses before God forms Adam from the dust, it states "there was no man to work the ground", indicating that when Adam is created, he is the first man. And if so, then he is the same man mentioned being created on Day 6 in Genesis 1. For Question #4, That there is a connection between Satan in the book of Revelation and the serpent in Genesis 3, doesn't negate that the text in Genesis 3 says "serpent" (it says "serpent" in Revelation 12:9 too!). For Question #7, Genesis 4:1 clearly states Adam and Eve are the biological parents of Cain. Using NT parables and metaphors about Cain being "of the evil one" doesn't disprove the clear reading of Genesis 4:1. Cain can be both biologically the son of Adam and Eve and in a *different sense* "of the evil one." About the genealogies, Genesis 4:17-22 lists the line of descent from Cain, but Genesis 5 lists the line of descent from Adam *through* his son Seth. Genesis 5:4 says Adam had other sons and daughters, but the genealogy is only interested in Seth's line. It doesn't mention every branch of the family tree, just one line through it that leads to Noah. -Mark
@@bible_bird Hey Mark, let’s work through question 1 first. Look at Genesis chapter 1 verses 26 to 28 closely. Here is part of verse 26 “let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle.” Just by reading this passage alone, God created more than just two people. He created fisherman, hunters, and cattlemen. But He did not create a farmer in this verse. Now look at Genesis 2:5, the verse you quoted; “and there was not a man to till the ground.” Now look at this passage in Genesis 2:7: “Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground”. This is where God created Adam, a farmer to till the ground. Now look at Genesis 2:8. Notice this part in verse 8: “there he put (the man) whom he had formed." The Hebrew word for “the man” is different than the word for “man” that is in Genesis 1:26. The word for “The Man”, is “eth-Ha adham” in the Hebrew language. The Hebrew word for man in Genesis 1:26 is just “‘ādām”. Adam and Eve have nothing to do with creating all the different human peoples, nor populating the whole world! So, what is so special or unique about Adam and Eve? They are the start of the genealogy of Jesus! You can read about this in Luke 3:23 through 3:38. The real confusion comes in with Genesis 3:20. This is where Adam calls Eve “the mother of all living”! This does not mean all the different human peoples of the world today! It means “all living through Jesus Christ”. If you don’t have Jesus in your life, then you are not living! He is the savior of the whole world. Jesus is the same yesterday, and today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8. There is a lot to process here, so I’ll finish the other questions at a later posting……
@@bible_bird Hey Mark, let’s work through both question 4 and question 7. The serpent in Genesis 3:1 and the serpent in Revelation 12:9 is “one-in-the-same”! This is none other than Satan himself. This is not a talking snake in an apple tree that is taught by some churches today! By the way, there are no apple trees in the garden of Eden. So, was Satan in the garden of Eden with Adam and Eve? You bet he was! Did you get a chance to read Luke 3:23 through 3:38 yet? One must understand what the meaning of Luke 3:23 - 38 is before we can understand what Satan was up to in the garden of Eden. So, what was Satan doing in the garden of Eden in the first place? Give Genesis chapter 3 a read. Now look closely at verse 13 of Genesis 3. Here is part of verse 13. ”And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me”. The woman here is mother Eve. The serpent is Satan. Look up the word “beguiled” in a Strong’s concordance. It means to “seduce wholly: -beguile, to deceive.” Mother Eve was totally and completely seduced by Satan! She bought-in to his lies! This is what “and I did eat” means in verse 13! In Genesis 4:1 we must rightly divide the word in this verse to understand what is going on here! Eve said “I have gotten a man from the LORD”. Notice that the word lord is in all capital letters. (KJV) So, is Adam the Lord? NO! So, did Eve have sexual relations with Satan? Where does children come from? Remember, Eve was totally and completely seduced by Satan in thinking that he (Satan) is the LORD! This is why Adam and Cain genealogy are different! Seth is listed in Adam genealogy, as he is in the genealogy of Jesus. Luke 3:23 through 3:38 declares this. Here are some other scriptures to look at: In Matthew chapter 13 Jesus talks about the “tares”. These are not “weeds” as in the NIV bible. Check out the word “tares” in the Strong’s concordance. Greek-2215 In Matthew 13:34 thru 40 Jesus tells us who the tares are and who sowed them. In Matthew 13:38 check out the word “seed” in the Strong’s concordance. Greek-4690. This is a literal meaning, not a spiritual meaning. This is one of Jesus teachings, not man. In John chapter 8 Jesus was verbally jousting with the religious leaders about who they are. These are the same religious leaders who killed Jesus. These leaders are not Roman leaders. These religious leaders were appointed by Rome not God. Israel was not a nation at the time Jesus was the on earth. In John 8:38 thru 47 Jesus tells us exactly who these religious leaders are and who their father is. Notice the lower-case letter for the word father in John 8:38, 41 and 44. When there is a capital letter “F” for father, this denotes our Heavenly Father. In the First Epistle of John chapter 3 check out verse 12. Also check out in the Strong’s concordance the word “wicked” in that verse. Greek-4190. So again, what was Satan doing in the garden of Eden in the first place? He (Satan) was trying to change or even stop the genealogy of Jesus. Or worst yet make the genealogy of Jesus about him (Satan)! I know this is a lot to digest and it sounds crazy, but it’s God’s word.
