Just cause there is a way to find her doesnt mean she is not hiding there..? And just cause there is a way for you to check for devices on the network doesnt mean you will do that. And if you arent going out of your way to do that, you could never know that she is in your network. And also she isnt a "device". She is a virtual being. For all you know, she could upload herself into the router's memory and physically live there.
