Nothing special today. Probably you have seen already many version of this Toxic Control. Here is my version. But soon everything will change. I'm getting used to the new cards. And I need a little more time to study new combos, the meta and then my deck generation machine will work in full force. At least, that's how it should be.😆 Btw, new Sylex can be replaced over Drag to the Bottom. I didn't test it. But it should work fine with Proliferate. Since we don't have any cheap permanent(except Celestus), we can destroy everything, of course except Vraska. 😁Technically, it may be more profitable in particular situations than Drag to the Bottom. I'm gonna test it later.

Made a build just like this! Saw a very very similar one to this from devin a few days ago! Good one lol! Control has never been better, love it! Imagine finally being able to not need creatures or invoke despair to win! Thanks wotc
I played this a bit. It is stupidly good. I thought there would be not great control in ONE, but I'm wrong. Now control doesn't even need damage anymore. +1 Mirrex -1 Underground River Maybe even +2 Mirrex?

Looked super nice! Made the deck, went 1 win 9 losses in platinum. Maybe it sucked in lower tier, or maybe be because I made it after a 70% win rate mono black deck, and the algorithm kept matching me up against it afterwards... Either way, ymmv everyone.
Great content. This deck didnt work for me sadly. 10 games and 0 wins. Worst draws and terrible form of control against decks with few creatures. I just need that Sonio luck lol
If you think this is busted, imagine infect. I was, unfortunately witness of the SOM standard with infect... Fuuuuck you were defeated in t3 and let's not mention caw blade... I am having shades of the NPH standard with ONE
@@dedfoker I was there for kessig wolf run and the stack abuse that caused wizards to change the rules of the game. But at least back then you could kill the creatures that would infect you. Now you just get a poison counter because you targeted a minion, or because I drew a card. The removal of interaction with poison counters makes absolutely no sense. This deck here is classic dimir control with ZERO minions. It just sits there countering and removing without the need of an actual win condition because it passively ticks up your counters. Turning standard into a race format is so lame to me.
Toxic right now is too slow against ultra aggro decks like mono red/azorius soldiers and enchantments. You need a lot of proliferate and poison counters to actually do something. I am thinking sultai or even simic toxic but I don't know.

Proliferate Saga counters! It disables the saga it ticks to and then never goes away.
This deck stalls out at 3 mana way more then it should.
The deck falls short when paired against other toxic decks.
This deck is straight up disgusting... I would not want to play against it and I really wouldn't even want to play it
yeah the toxic stuff doesn't seem that fun to even play so far. I'm nowhere near as jazzed as I was with BRO now that the set is out.
