this song speaks alot for me.....i ran into this song a couple years ago when everything was falling apart.....and recently things havent been going all that well....i totally forgot about this song...and i run into it again.....
Just Toni I know what you mean I've been sexually abused since the age of 3 years old I only remember when I was 5 and older not when I was 3 anyways other than sexual abuse I was abuses by my dad and neglected by my mom as I turned 8 mom never payed attention to me she started ignoring me until this day she still thinks her boyfriend is more important than her kids it's sad really and because of my mother's ignorance and my father's too 3 years ago I came to Florida because social services was getting ready to take me away from my mother for the 3rd time in my whole life and now I live with my Aunt in Flroifa and I can't go to my dad because he is not healthy enough for me I've missed most of my good childhood and most of being able to be a kid because of that sexual abuse that I've gone through I'm also a survivor of sexual assault/abuse and which is why I have ptsd i was born with depression but the memories from way back when they make everything worse they make me not be able to trust no one not even myself I feel broken and I listen to the song because I know that's me and that I need to accept it or life won't get better for me and same for others I pray for people like me evrynight I may not know your names but I pray and pray that society will get better at keeping creeps away from our future children and us now I'm 17 but I'm just saying LIFE WILL GET BETTER even if right now it feels like you've lost your way trust me I know I feel that way all the time everyday all day so yeah I understand what your going through and even tho my life hasn't gotten much better yet I am keeping my hope/faith that I will feel better one day and that one day I will be able to forget about anything ba that has happened to me

My cousins younger siblings were suffering physical abuse from their stepfather. He told me not to tell anyone, but I couldn't stay silent. I told my aunt(his grandmother) and she was so shocked that she called his mom. I don't know what happened but they are okay now.
You know my best friend sent this to me, and I'm not gonna lie I teared up a bit, and this song is beautiful and it hits me on a emotional level that I can't explain
Was physically and emotionally abused by my first ex in 7th grade, raped at 15 by my someone who I thought was my best friend and I didn't even know what sex even was, was suicidal, cutted and overdose attempts from 4th grade to 10th, this song came up and now I can't stop crying, no song was able to express my life so much until now.... It's been hard to keep it inside cuz not even my parents know the reason why I was depressed or what happened to me, I'm 17 now and it still hurts not telling them but I feel like it's better to not tell them cuz I don't want them to feel hurt...

you choose to be strong and be a survivor if that's what you want but you have to choose your self and fight for what you want
