    This must have been a treat that our ancestors brought from Africa. I came on here looking for doukounou recipe to relive my childhood in Haiti and came across your video. I thought this was a Haitian treat, but it proves that we’re more alike than we think although some of the ingredients are different. I used to have it when I visited the countryside in 🇭🇹. Island life is the best.

    i just came from jamaica dukunu was always my favourite so my aunty made me a lo of them and enough to take home to new zealand however as i got home they spoil up. So this blue draws recipe is everything thank you

    I used to eat asham everyday in primary school 😂😂😊😊memories. My Aunties always gathered together at the house in molynes and did this on Fridays😊when I idibitty

    The😮se days dlue draws make diffrent i know it make with fill green banana and some flour to hold is now is corn meal sweet potato it does not tast good l tried it with the sweett potato and the corn meal and it do not tast good Please try BANANA

      I think every parish does it different. My grandma never used green bananas.
