Lawrence Mpuru Aburi is currently serving as a member of parliament representing Tigania East Constituency. After losing in 2017 general election, he secured a post in the East Africa Legislative Assembly (EALA). In 2013 to 2017, he had been elected as the MP of Tigania East.
