I have owned three TVRs since the 1970s, the first was a S1 Vixen in yellow which was reputed to have been in the TV show ‘The Saint’ in the 1960s during one episode featuring a TVR versus a Marcos in a race; these cars were not portrayed as they really were, but had fictitious names in the show. Next I had a 2500M which, after some restoration was my favourite car- ever. I bought it for £1000 in about 1980. I now have a TVR Tasmin280i convertible in my garage which I drove from 2005 to 2010, and which I am getting an itch to get going again. Long Live TVR Sportscars.
