LONG COMMENT AHEAD
(My car has bi-functional LED projector so hope i deserve to comment practical details about projector headlights)
1. 9:13 wrong info. projector also gives wide beam pattern in low beam mode. They do cover both the lane (one direction) in highways.
2. 9:55 Screen projector are different from headlight projector. screen projectors are designed to project an image so obviously it'll be in rectangular form and no lights are seen beyond that rectangular portion. whereas circular headlight projectors are designed to project light which scatters light in high beam mode. (Neenga soldra madhiri kattam katti ellam light varadhu)
3. Only advantage of projector headlight is that they won't blind on-coming traffic in low beam mode. but in high beam mode they do blind on-coming traffic even better than reflector headlight.
4. About the distance coverage: Reflectors and projectors both covers same distance only difference is reflectors covers large surface area with scattered beam so it looks dim whereas, projector covers less surface area with focused scattered beam. (Varthaiya note pannikonga)
5. Projectors are good for low beam, that is why budged cars uses projector for low beam and reflector for high beam (Eg: ciaz, tigor, xuv 500, venue..etc) (oru vela unnmaiyave budget problem ah irukkalam)
6. Then why high end cars like Merc, BMW, Audi use projectors for both the beams? you may ask. That is different. By seeing those car's headlight you may simply think it is a projector headlight, but its not. They use more no.of.LEDs in headlight (Eg: Merc multi beam use 84 LEDs in single headlight unit, Audi matrix beam uses more no.of.LEDs arranged in matrix format) so they give more bright light in perfect beam pattern. Those are specially designed projector only for LEDs. (Even those companies used projector for low beam and reflector for high beam in old models)
7. In simple words, more no.of.LEDs = more light = more brightness. Bi-functional projectors won't give much brightness for high beam because it uses single bulb. that is why some cars uses more projector (Eg: creta has 3, tucson has 5 ) because more projector needs more LEDs and more LEDs give more brightness (paakavum azhaga irukkum, bright ah irukkum. eppadi ellam yosikiranga!!)
8. some automobile manufacturer use LED reflector headlight. bikes like activa, jupiter, access, N-Torq, etc. and even cars like city, kiger, seltos, XL6, etc they have LED reflector headlight, again that is different. those are specially designed reflectors for LEDs. if you get a chance, look closer inside those headlight you'll notice that they don't use one single reflector but they have mutiple cube like partitioned reflectors separately for both beams.
CONCLUSION: Factory designed LED projector and LED reflectors gives good beam pattern and brightness.
REQUEST: If your bike and car has halogen reflector setup please do not replace the bulb with LED bulb. Nowadays people just buy 200 rupee LED bulb and simple swap it with existing halogen bulb just because it gives premium look. They don't know, it is so annoying for on-coming traffic because those reflectors are not designed for LEDs ( LED poataa mattum onga vandi premium aayidadhu. andha madhiri vandi ellam paatha adikkanum pola thonum) and also it won't give perfect beam pattern (you can see dark spots b/w)

Due to visibility.. Also opposite car coming full light hitting and can't see properly. What should I do... Now.. I don't know..??? I can't change others who come opposite side me

Clear cut info brother. Let me add some of my experience about halogen projector unit. Our family brought first family car, Hyundai Eon(2013-2015 Dec). I had done Navagragha temple visit in Eon. The car had halogen reflectors both low & high beam one single unit. The throw was not satisfactory during the trip. Planned to change to Philips & Osram bulbs with same rating which can't void warranty. Unfortunately the car had total loss during #chennaifloods. Back in 2016 Jan, We brought Maruti Wagon-R Stingray Vxi as our second car(still have it) Why i chose stingray than regular one? Because this has Halogen Projector unit for low beam & reflector for high beam. Did same Navagragha temple run. Boy i got lot of confidence to drive on night with this projector. Plan to change the stock bulbs(once get fused) to Philips G-force xtreme with same rating 60/55 W so the projector wont get fried.
As for led bulbs, Projector unit would be good than reflectors. Example- Hyundai Verna & Hyundai Elantra(Top end to top end variant)
Hid units is almost non-existent in our market. AFAIK, Ford Ecosport Titanium S Variant(top) comes with Hid unit.
Laser light is famous in Mercedes Benz, Audi & BMW. Each of them call their own names. IIRC, Newly launched 2021 Bmw 6 series GT comes with Laser unit which is fantastic IMHO.
Want to check the usage of both units? Try to test drive these cars.
Tata Tiago & Tata Tigor. Tiago used to had projector units in JTP versions.
In bikes
Pulsar NS 200 & Pulsar RS 200.

One main thing to add birla especially in india is to have a wide throw of headlamps due to sudden pedestrian jumping, animals coming out of nowhere, so its better to have a wide throw with added long throw, ideal mix is to have a wide low beam and long and focused high beam

Led headlight is best on most of the time only sometimes like during heavy rain I miss yellow lights......projector light is good in some cars and bad in tata cars.....
Previously automotive manufacturers were using halogen bulb head lamps that would scatter light rays evenly on the reflector so that wouldn't affect our eye sight while driving.
ARAI has gone insane and had become a commission institute for all vehicle manufacturers to approve the LED bulb usage in all vehicle models. Common public doesn't know the impact of usage of led lights either in vehicle transport or in house hold usage. Normal halogen, incandescent, fluorescent bulbs does no harm when compared to led. Led rays are monochromatic which directly affect the cornea and pupil of the eye which can create a blind spot while driving which become the root cause for major accidents. Moreover in addition to this all time headlight on function in all vehicles is completely an insane approval of ARAI. This headlight function is only intended for vehicles sold in northern parts of India where there is zero visibility due to fog and smog.

Bro I am regular follower of your videos. As you said mirrors not used to reflect but aluminium at high temperature in vaccum they spray on plastic . Thus aluminium coating behaves like mirror and reflecting.. fyi please.. keep it up

Super. Very well explained. It helps me to remind my memories when i studied this theories in 2015 . S-cross had projector lamps that time when launched. I also looked so many shops to change it and most of the shop owners told to rewire everything and osram bulbs are very bright and clear, but it affects other drivers due to heavy bright. So i avoided it.
Osram 4200kelvin premium hid kit to fit you car. Pure white light better' visibility.
Upcoming driver's are not irritated.

I have seen many people just replace the halogen bulbs in the existing reflector type headlights with LED bulbs, and it's a disaster to other road users as the beam is not focused as in the projector type headlights and it's give too much glare. It's high time the MVD should ban such modifications for the safety of road users.

I need to know which one is better with respect to colours of head light ?
Most of the recent cars has white colour beam from head lights, but older cars has halogen with yellow colour beams.
When I drive recent cars with white colour beam during rainy season, as per my perspective road is not clearly visible. But I have not feel the same when I drove halogen with yellow shades.
Please share your thoughts on this !
