- After scoring an unexpected campsite just meters from the waters edge at Limber Point we roll out our swag and head into Torndirrup National Park, 1st stop is the gap and natural bride, they were both incredible and truly showed the power of Mother Nature. We then headed to Salmon Holes, I had heard that if you wanted to catch a salmon this was the place to do it, after chucking many lures, being rained on and completely windblown I admit defeat. Next stop was Misery beach, it was voted the number one beach in Australia for 2023, after realising the road to the beach was shut we couldn’t leave without checking it out so decide to climb over the rocks to reach the beach, things definitely don’t go to plan and with an incoming tide and one of the hardest and sketchiest rock scrambles we have ever done, a moment of solitude we have it all to ourselves so decide to go for a quick skinny dip. Upon returning to the patrol We realise that we have made a huge mistake as there was just too much to see in Albany and we had only booked one night (Albany we will be back). Next we head to the William Bay National Park, check out the unique Elephant rock and then the stunning Greens pool, we spend the afternoon at the valley of the Giants, walking among giants on the treetop suspension bridge.
