  • After scoring an unexpected campsite just meters from the waters edge at Limber Point we roll out our swag and head into Torndirrup National Park, 1st stop is the gap and natural bride, they were both incredible and truly showed the power of Mother Nature. We then headed to Salmon Holes, I had heard that if you wanted to catch a salmon this was the place to do it, after chucking many lures, being rained on and completely windblown I admit defeat. Next stop was Misery beach, it was voted the number one beach in Australia for 2023, after realising the road to the beach was shut we couldn’t leave without checking it out so decide to climb over the rocks to reach the beach, things definitely don’t go to plan and with an incoming tide and one of the hardest and sketchiest rock scrambles we have ever done, a moment of solitude we have it all to ourselves so decide to go for a quick skinny dip. Upon returning to the patrol We realise that we have made a huge mistake as there was just too much to see in Albany and we had only booked one night (Albany we will be back). Next we head to the William Bay National Park, check out the unique Elephant rock and then the stunning Greens pool, we spend the afternoon at the valley of the Giants, walking among giants on the treetop suspension bridge.

Wow what an adventure, Misery beach looked great but it just looked so scary getting down to it. You are visiting some stunning locations. Still hanging out for Shan to catch a decent fish. Thanks again.😊

Damn guys, your determination to get to the beach paid off really well. The approach looked sketchy as and i didn't think you'd make it, but you guys always surprise me. Loved the epi as always. P.S. Love the "Shan for scale" metric 😅😅

Thanks mate, yes definitely didn’t want to let it beat us but probably wouldn’t do it again over the rocks. We like doing the Shan for scale as it’s so hard to show how huge things are on camera, so glad you like it. Thanks again for the support 😊😊👍

Have a look at going overland. Washing, water filter and ev video. I have the same camper. It is tight but comfortable enough. could do 95% of Australia in it. Plus, it is the same width as the car and low. 190ltr water. I have the bike hitch on the back. Dual tires. Slide out fridge 75ltr, built a cheese biscuits box with cutting board. I have a triple joolca shower tent and hot water unit. I took the bunk out. 3/4 seat now. I have a filinipa, and she has never been to a museum. And many other things.
