Slate, if it is natural has some pretty weird properties - I used to import export, wholesale retail Slate as a high quality Slate Apecialist - and it can have the effect of sucking heat out of a room. A neighbour had a beautiful Slate Fireplace built in a very large lounge, and they just couldn't get the room to warm up - nice in the Summer, but bad news on cold winter nights, but did get around it, by having the Central heating extended by adding some really large radiators to that room. Slate is an absolutely wonderful material to work with, and I must admit, I rather miss dealing with Customers and architects looking for nice options for their Construction Projects. Great Tour of a boat that has maximised the available space to great effect. Best Wishes. Bob in Wales. 🤔👍🌟🌟🌟❤️❤️❤️
looks like a fantastic vessel for fair-weather latitudes. not so much for areas that are hotter or colder. i would also miss having a proper salon. the seating area quite small. the lower deck is very well laid out for a 62 footer. i would convert the single berth state room to a pantry with an additional refrigerator. i think this would make up for the lack of dry and cold storage on an "epxplorer" where autonomy is crucial. i would also like to see some solar solutions.
Love the open concept and layout. Definitely need the washer/dryer below the stairs instead of the cabin. Also, would prefer a single sink in the VIP to allow room for a dry toilet rather than the boxed in wet style. Last, increase the cruising range to > 1000mi. Other than that, is my next boat. Beautifully done.
This could be the best 60fters in the market right now, beating big names like azimut ferretti san lorenzo sunseeker .. Guys it is good for the price in its class about 3mil boat not 10 20 30 50mil yacht.
If you want to see a very well-built, practical, and functional explorer yacht, then tour a Bering or a Damen Support Vessel or Damen SeaXplorer. I worry a great deal about the quality of wiring installation, pipe installation, and fire safety coming out of Italian shipyards. Just my opinion from personal experience. Also with only a 1700 mile range it is hard to say it is an explorer.
We included all of this at the end and we mentioned the engines during the tour. But the fuel tank is 2800 ltr, water is 1000 ltr, max sp is 24kn, cruising speed is 16kn, twin Volvo IPS 800hp engines. Range will vary depending on how fast you go and fuel burn. Thanks for watching.
The fact that the kitchen is directly adjacent to the control unit/helm station, is a real drawback. Steam, odours etc. are reflected on the monitors and appliances. In addition, there is no seating at the steering wheel. In my opinion, this concept needs to be revised. Incidentally, it would be interesting to see the engine room. What a pity.
Bizarre layout; staircase in the lounge - making the lounge cramped, kitchen in/on the bridge?! This layout appears to be change for the sake of change.
It looks cool but I think they really tried too hard on this yacht. The multiple sinks with very weird controls are prime examples--overcomplicated and overfocused on being cool. I think too much of that attitude is pervasive throughout the entire yacht.
@@AlexisMancuso started with a 19 foot Amy aluminum ! 40 years ago, then had wellcraft 210, formula 270, my last boat, formula 400ss. Sold it 2020 at lake of the ozarks, great boat
People like you make me laugh 🤣 you just had crappy little boats and you criticize a yacht that was acclaimed by the international press and won an award.
One of the stupidest boat recently viewed...the open concept is great but quality of the finish, location of equipment and many other amenities are poor and wring..this is a vessel not an apartment!
I watched with other youtubers they did not do as good walk through as you both did👍💯
Thank you so much!
Beutiful boat .... great presentation .... HUGE problem 600 mile max range cuts out large parts of the world
Thanks so much!

Thanks Bob for your feedback! Cheers!
Beautiful boat! Very stylish in a small package 👏🏽
Thank you for watching!
what an interesting concept - it's like a little tugboat!! this was a nice video!
Thank you!
Lots of fridge space lol 😄😁
If I watched this not knowing it's a 62 I would guess it's a 72. Nice boat and tour, thank you.
Thank you for watching!
Love it!!
Thanks guys!

SIMPLY 🥲 BEAUTIFUL YACHT
FLAWLESS CREATION
W😳W
Thanks for watching!
Can you owner/single operate this size or you need a crew member?
Most likely.
But it depends on your experience
I want to trade my scooter for this!
engine room? :p
We thought we had footage already, so we didn't go into it. Unfortunately they did not. Sorry!!
aha all good, just love me some mechanicals and this yacht may be close to perfect! :D
thank you for the tour
I have no money for a boat why am I watching this?
Not many of us do but we can dream right? Also, you can create the same effects with an older, smaller vessel.
Thanks for watching!
Yep, some day it might happen!
Why do I care?
We’re in the same boat…
This could be the best 60fters in the market right now,
beating big names like azimut ferretti san lorenzo sunseeker ..

The transparent sink is lovely but I'm clumsy and it would terrify me.
LOL! Same here! Thanks for watching!

What’s the fuel amount, range, max speed, types of engines? Cost!
Thanks for watching.
cost 2 livers and a kidney. range is pretty much the same across the board with yachts bro, est. 8kn = 1.5k nm 16kn = 800nm
The helm, kitchen in one tight space is a bad idea.
That, we agree with you.
Are you the American versions of Nick and Mary-Anne
And no dishwasher in the galley, just what I don’t want, washing dishes by hand on my weekend of downtime.
There is a dishwasher on this boat - in fact we talked about it. Thanks for watching.

Agree. Thanks for watching!
Did Ally just say she's a cougar...😅
Yep! GoCougs!
Couldn't take 2 minutes to show engine room ?
Sorry, we thought they had footage of it that we could use, so we didn't open the hatch. Thanks for watching.
Bizarre layout; staircase in the lounge - making the lounge cramped, kitchen in/on the bridge?! This layout appears to be change for the sake of change.
We thought the galley placement was a bit strange too. Thanks for watching!

We appreciate you watching and sharing!
Interesting boat, but whoever named it Does not
Know what Explorer means.
Painful to watch this garbage boat
What kind of boat do you have ?

We've had over 230 likes and nothing but compliments
Abd this is not a sales video. We do all of our videos as a first impression. Thx for watching
