  • Sixty-one years after the first and only publication in English of ‘Marcel Duchamp,’ the definitive monograph of the artist’s work, created collaboratively by Duchamp and his close friend Robert Lebel, the book is now reemerging for a new public, perhaps the one that Duchamp (1887-1968) so patiently awaited.
This short documentary film chronicles the painstaking, letter-by-letter process that went into Hauser & Wirth Publisher's project of republishing the monograph in an edition faithful to both the spirit and the physical object of the original, the culmination of years of efforts by the artist Jean-Jacques Lebel, Robert Lebel’s son, to bring the influential and increasingly rare English edition back into the world.

One of my favorite persons from history. Some people we'll never grasp and understand, at least if you are me. Marcel Duchamp will forever be an enigma to me. I guess you have to be Marcel Duchamp to understand him, or be somewhat at his level. And yes, perhaps there has been other remarkable people, who, say, are Marcel Duchamp.

This really moves me. Thank you. Yes, all of us fading away like smoke one day, all of us taking the light with us, with not even a shadow being left behind here.
I was always very much taken with Marcel Duchamp's endeavour to go beyond the three dimensions of creation we are bound by here. Actually, I still do not believe that we are bound by it. Only we have to develop further in our abilites to go beyond those dimensions.

Modern Artists revere his intellectual approach to Art but find it perplexing to understand his Art objects. And that makes him so interesting. And none of his work pays homage to aesthetics.? 👉👀😂😂😂👈

you can already tell from the music thatb this video doesn't have anything substantial to say. It's the completely wrong attitude.
