My favorite feature is the trackball. I use Photoshop a lot and it's very convenience and smooth to use. I'm encouraging to my fiance to get one cause she does her own videos for her cooking channel, she's thinking about it
I too am old school and use to have the old Logitech trackball from about a decade ago. I loved it but in my many mores across the US I lost it. Deciding that I would replace it with the Logitech M570, but after watching your video I now have a new trackball in mind. I can't wait to get my new Ergo the only problem is I have to wait unit my store has them in stock. One week isn't that long but thanks for the fresh look.

Thanks for this review. I used to use a trackball mouse a long time ago and my wrist misses them. I think my favorite feature is the tilting stand that lets you experiment between horizontal and semi-vertical orientation.
I am so sad that the red fingertip trackball has not been updated for wireless, usb c, and scroll, as I have arthritis in my thumb joints. The fingertip allows me to use one of three fingers over the day. As we age, it is very hard to deal with constant obsolescence of our tools and have to relearn a new one. Like a carpenter with a hammer, if we changed his hammer every year, the houses would not be very good, lol.
My favourite features would be the comfort, programming and different aspects that make it a whole. Furthermore the construction itself is something I really enjoy - it's something unique and different but it provides a lot like wireless charging. The mouse also looks as if it has a gentle touch and I also like that feature. I have this old mouse at home and it's a really big bother when I'm trying to tilt it to go to a different page or scroll down.

It seems these is a time lag for the LED of precision button. Is there actually a time lag for the switching into precision mode or is it just the LED?
Any idea if I purchase through your link if it comes with a rubber wedge that gives the Ergo an extra 10 degree tilt? Also does the Ergo provide hyper scrolling?
I love mine as well but when it starts acting 'jerky' (like when i'm aiming at a guy in a FPS game), cleaning the ball doesn't seem to help. Can you put a drop of oil on it? Are those three touching points under the wheel 'roller bearings'? If those are then a bit of oil might help the rolling, yeah. Thanks!

Thanks for continuing to make quality content, you're seriously one of the more underrated tech youtubers out there ;) A couple of completed jailbreaks are about to drop soon (once substrate's been updated) and I hope you'd still be in on those with the jailbreak tutorials and tweak videos :D PS: Like the angle adjustability feature :P

Fun facts, is more easy to control when is dirty XD I bought one because I had lesion on my wrist, still hurt if I hold weight but this allowed to work on the office without any problem, I need more rehabilitation to my full recovery but thanks to this is more easy to past :D
I'm a big fan of trackballs, but the notion that you need a lot of space for a mouse is just wrong. I need 4 cm of x space and 2 cm of y space for my mouse, to cover the entire screen.

Oh ! Just find out there is no compartment to store the " Unifying Receiver " with this mouse. How suppose to carry the receiver wihtout losing it. This probably make me skip this mouse. That's too bad！
LOGITECH MX ERGO / if you are thinking of going big brain and switching you wont regret it. I use mine for everything gaming leage, wow etc. It just takes practice. I never use the fine movement button it is not needed for an experienced user, it is really for new users.
Sorry, but I wasn't as happy with this model. I think because I used a Logitech Marble FX mouse, where the ball is controlled with the index finger and the one next to it for years. In fact, after wearing down the first, I bought a second one. Sadly, you can't get it new any more. Too bad it was discontinued. The ball is larger and the switches are perfectly placed. I find the MX ball difficult to control with precision using my thumb. Although the switch is faulty on my FX, I went back to it. I just have to press it harder and eventually try to swap switched internally. Logitech does make another model with the ball on top. I may have to give that a go.
I've never bought one of the track ball mice because I don't know that I could get used to it. Winning one would be a great way to find out if they are my new addiction or not. 8)

I personally like how comfortable it is, and the back and forth button when browsing the internet, it saves you a lot of time.
I bought one, it's awesome, it has 3 dfferent angles actually - 0, 20º and 30º.
The extra one you only get with the support, which is only available when you buy from BestBuy on the US I believe.
@@estanho It can be angled in-between those, with any object you put in the space left, so you can DIY regulate it ;)

I am disabled and work from a bed at very tedious (painting), so that is essential.
The best and my fav feature are the ergonomics of the scroll ball in relation to the position of your hand and click fingers.

Those customisable buttons are the best feature. If i had that mouse i would do the same when it comes to listening to my music.

I like the trackball so you don't need to move the mouse around. They also included adjusting the angle of the mouse.

3 years and still no reply? Mine is a simple question. Are the 3 ball contacts 'fixed sensors' or are they 'rolling bearings'???

All mouse & keyboard reviewers always to forget to show one thing: THE SOUND. The biggest factor for me is how loud the click sound is!
