Great vid. I'm considering the almond cow reason being it takes me about an hour to make milk using my ninja. I put loads of stuff in though, maple syrup, some cashews to make it even creamier, vanilla extract, dates, salt. I blend it in the ninja but my ratio is 1/2 cup of almonds to 2 cups of water. Maybe that's why it's taking me an hour! I only blend for 1 minute in the ninja then I pour through a sieve then after that pour into nut bag. On milk day my kitchen is like a fucking nissan convey belt!
As suggested in the video I ran the almond cow twice, the second time always results in overflow coming out the top and flowing down the sides, unfortunately. How do I prevent this?
My pulp is never that dry right out of the basket. Mine looks like that after I’ve squeezed it through a nut milk bag though. Which defeats the purpose of even using the Almond Cow!
I’m having the same problem. And the more I run it. It gets in the milk and I have to strain it in a nut bag to get the added pulp out because it’s so soupy. Kinda wish I had kept to my Ninja and dealt with the extra mess.
The Almond Cow is a specialized high-speed milk maker designed to make plant-based milk and other beverages quickly. It simplifies both the milk-making and the cleanup process. It uses a filter basket where you place your ingredients (1 cup). That is then attached to the top of the machine where the blade is. The base of the machine is filled with water, then the top of the machine is placed on the base. Press the button on the top of the machine and let it run its quick cycle (about 1 minute). To protect the nutrients in the ingredients you're using, the Almond Cow does not use any heat! The milk-making process will finish at the same temperature it started at. Once the cycle has finished, you can take the top off the machine, and the milk is left in the base (5-6 cups per batch). The ground-up ingredients, aka the pulp, is left in the filter basket (so no straining is required). The pulp can be used in smoothies, baked goods, sauces, or dried out to make flour.
Hi Jodee! Consistency of the pulp will vary depending on the ingredients used. We recommend letting the filter basket sit in the collector cup after making milk to catch the remaining liquid in the pulp. Or you can use a spatula to press the pulp against the sides of the filter basket to drain the remaining liquid from the pulp.
I have been playing with using the different methods and so far the hot water method running the cycle twice in the Almond Cow is my favorite.
I like the idea of running it through twice to get the maximum from my almonds...thanks for the ideas.. Jules from Oz🌻
The ice method works great! After it's finished remove the ice cubes and the milk is creamier because there's less liquid.
I decided to try this and I was so surprised. It really worked! I’m so happy! I used whole oat groats and ran the machine twice. Very simple.🌱
Adding another cup of nuts to the original made milk is brilliant. It works great!
This was a very useful video
I'm getting super close to the perfect recipe !!
Please post when you do!
VERY NICE

This takes literally 3 minutes from start to finish, plus cleaning.
Thank you!
😊 Thank you!
Will soaking the cashews or almonds first also help thicken?

We're sorry to hear your Almond Cow not working as it should! Please reach out to us at info@almondcow.co (not .com) for further assistance. Cheers!
Yes, make sure the liquid is not above max, don't put more liquid in, just run it twice or thrice.
So do we need to soak the nuts ?
Hi there! Soaking is optional. We recommend it for a smoother milk. Cheers!

I sit the nut container on the strainer shelf in my sink and just let gravity get the last moisture out into a bowl, no straining needed.
all i could see is a fancier and more expensive blender that produces nut juice...that's it

Why is my pulp after like soup?? It’s never as dry as yours
