It's always an absolute delight! I have so many sails, but I have the deepest love for the 7.5 AC-X on the 100% point7 mast on the full carbon boom. It's absolutely incredible to blast across flat water with this sail!
Bin gerade mit Frau und Kindern seit ner Woche auf Rhodos, no wind so far. Für Mo ist endlich ein wenig Druck angesagt, dann geht’s für mich auch nach Prasonisi. Wie cool, dass gerade jetzt ein appetizer hierzu kommt🤙😃 Seid ihr noch da?
Great place, been there twice in beginning of September. Did my first planing jibe there 😊 The windsurfing area is around 600 meters long so you need to jibe a lot which is fine in flat water :) The nearest village with some shops, restauraunts and accomodation is Kattavia and it 15 minute drive from the beach. Very quiet place. You can also stay next to beach, but prices are double or more than in Kattavia. When you sail there during the day then there are a lot of people on the water. This video is filmed after the rentals were closed I assume and that is why it looks so empty.
Great travel blog, and what gorgeous light when you were on the water!! Shame you couldn’t have stayed longer, there’s a huge windsurf beach in the North of Rhodes. Next time you did a travel blog, could you show a map of where you are going?
not the best know but during the best winds season it is an absolutely fabulous and in a evening in nearby village Catavia the best restaurants and atmosfire is also fantastic, mainly windsurfing crowd . It is not Fuerte but this is how we should keep it -we keep returning there , we know everyone it feels like home , and if you like explore the island and restaurants it is an absolute gem!! there are places there are so good and hospitality is well above usual Geek fantastick service.
Hallo Mario. Der Beginn von Prassonisi als Surf-Spot reicht fast 30 Jahre zurück. Wenn der schönwetter Wind bläst aus Nord, bist Du dort Sandgestrahlt. Die Surf und Kite-Instruktoren laufen im Sommer mit Wollmütze rum. To much. Viele Surfer mieten sich in Gennadi ein und sind am Abend dort im Dorf. Katavia und Lachania haben nicht viel Infrastruktur. Den Bildern nach warst du in Katavia. Noch was : Die Insel hat pro Jahr fast 2 Miio. Touristen. Die kommen mit dem Flugzeug oder dem Kreuzfahrtschiff....... Deine km auf dem Wasser sind ja klimaneutral.........freue mich dich wieder auf der Insel zu sehen....... go for it..... one of the best spot in Europ.
I'm sorry to be negative, but I have to be totally honest and this video does not make me feel good about the carbon footprint of your little trip and the amount of gear you took for such a short trip doesn't seem reasonable either. But who knows, maybe I don't fully understand your motivation in this case (it doesn't help that I'm not having a good day to start with).
