In the front panel those rubbers you use to locate the radiator is in upside down and should go inside the front panel first and then push the rad into them not after
It’s a shame when your eager to move on and a 3rd party holds you up. But it’s heading in the right direction Paul, starting, running and holding water. Yep won’t be long and it’ll all be done ! 👍🏽😎
I did 2 Nissan terrano over the weekend, both thermostats and housing cracked,, took bottom hose off both.. Refilled with neat 4 litres red anti freeze,, it looks like you used pre-diluted.. 👍👌👍👌
@@CarsForPaul you can't say that for sure, as you said, there was already water in the system. And you have no idea wether or not that had the correct ratio in it. So your pre-diluted could of been diluted down even further..
If it's the car's original ballast units it wouldn't need recording as that is the electronic part which communicates with the ECU, glad they weren't damaged in the shunt it had.
Expert video Paul. Do you have to do any bleed procedure when refilling coolant? Regarding fan kicking, I believe temp for most cars is between 100-110c. My wife's 2006 TT temp gauge stays at 90 once warm & never moves (which is normal) whatever car is doing. I don't believe these dials give true readings, & are there more for a guide on car functioning correctly. BMW haven't used coolant gauges in their cars for some, for this reason I believe.
Hi mate I got a 2020 Mercedes C63 AMG V8 Bi-Turbo damaged front end, any advice on where I could source the parts, or do you think I should put it through Co-Part, the car is unrecorded, HPI clear.
Lovely Jubbly Paul, vlogs keep getting better.
Thanks 👍

yes I did, it means I get the correct density of coolant in the car

Keep the magnifier from the broken headlight Paul. They are very handy for reading small numbers on ecu plugs etc.

You doing a tremendous job Paul. Have a good safe Xmas. YNWA
When I did my A3, the rubber bungs went in the top (not from underneath as you did), the rad sat in them and tilted into the upper slots.

@@CarsForPaul Thanks Paul, I am open to offers, I can send you photos of the car and a detailed video, it's premium speck.
@@CarsForPaul I have found the panels I need to find a o/s headlight, I and trying to find out if the pre-facelift rads are the same.
Hi Paul
I'm local to you, any chance you could use your scan tool on my vw T6? Earn yourself a few quid towards your TT Project!
Thanks Charlie
Where did you buy those grey cupboards from? Are they the Keter ones?
They came out of my Renault Trafic van
Hi. I have a question please. Does unplugged crash sensor cause a no start ?
No, it just leaves the error light on
Almost fell over then 😃

I bet hes broke the grille 🙈
Or maybe it got lost/stolen from his workshop.
He’s either broke it, lost it or sold it on eBay
