    It really is frustrating knowing that they're one of the first human inhabitants of the Philippine islands and yet they're the ones being left out of the education they deserve.

      Yes, Aeta are the first inhabitants and every Filipino are descendants of these tribes. However, our ancestors probably dwell beside the seas and get to interact with. Chinese, Indians, Arabs, and etc.

    When they bred them out and produced the caste race they brushed the blackness under the rug. I am proud of him and how he graduated in his traditional attire. Lift up you people. We the Africans stand behind every indigenous people around the world. Because at the end of the day we were globally oppressed. Stay strong Aeta!

    I am ethnically ilokano/samtoy from ilocos norte and sur migrated to Burgos, Mangaldan Pangasinan to California. I deeply believe the igorots, Ilokanos, and i ibalois are all deeply connected and related. We look so much alike compared to southern "filipinos".

    So the indigenous people of the Philippines are Black (or Negritos as they are called). Who know. The deeper you dig the blacker it gets.

      Go ahead keep digging. By the end of the day you will find out they have more rights than you. They own the land and the oceans where you are standing. You are only a migrant just like everyone else you dig in your own kind.

    Those UP authorities who asked you why you should be admitted when you are an Aeta are oblivious of the central ideas of democracy which their very institution is supposed to stand for. They are, to say the least, a disgrace to UP's libertarian identity.

    • @KapengBarakoTheReal
      @KapengBarakoTheReal 6 лет назад +21

      Aeta's aren't austronesian iirc. They migrates to Philippines earlier than the austronesians (main ethnic Filipino race) hence they're a different people. It's pretty noticeable, with their darker complexion, shorter stature and curly hair.

      Just to be clear! Some of them don't have money for education... How can they get proper education or attend school if they don't have any money for it???
      Another fact is that some people from the goverment is stealing their lot and their planted fruits and veggies...
      Now tell me? How can you say "tulungan nyo sarili nyo" or "help your selves" when in fact they are doing there best and still get stealed at...
      It's funny how Some Filipino's respect other people around the world but don't respect people at there country I'm saying this because I've experienced this myself!
