My uncle bought a white 91 brand new, then I got it from him when I was 14. Drove that car to high school and to my first couple jobs. I even memorize the vin 1G1BL53E0MR100100
How could this cost under 20k and a BMW 525i from the same year almost 50k? I don't see that much appealing for buying luxury imports like BMW or Mercedes from the American/Canadian perspective. Having access to a giant comfy land yacht powered by a V8, what's the point of paying double for getting less?? I speak from my European perspective. I haven't driven any body on frame American luxoboat yet, but I can imagine that they offer high levels of comfort and a great ride. I can't imagine this car being far from even an S Class when it comes to highway cruising and overall comfort, and this is not even the Cadillac version.
