I really like this, it seems almost like a finale for it all. Trollface has finally come to terms with this dark, disturbing reality void of all his previous childish antics, but instead of taking it out on the world around him as Trollge, he instead has learned to accept it and find the light. Those early days may be gone, but as long as they exist in his memory, he can keep coming back to it and use it to draw that same light out in this new world, no matter how scary or foreign it is. And besides, as Ruler of Everything taught us, time is a flat circle; whether or not that's bad or good is entirely up to those who choose to walk it, or even if it's a mix of bad and good and the black/white perspective is really just that, a perspective. Point is, I really hope that this sort of thing holds true and that as time goes on for us in the real world, and we keep it coming back for future generations to enjoy like we have.
I feel the reason that this song fits the trollface is it has this tone of wackiness while having undertones that are more creepy and centered around how life will end, but the reason it works is that the trollface broke that border and is back but he knows that it doesn't matter in the end so he just does whatever. also, i imagine him singing the keep on coming back part to himself while he walks down the street.
