I ran 496.49 until the update a few days ago. nicehash issue. popped in 2 32g dimms, got a 40 gig memory job soon thereafter. as long as I make average of $.40 a day, it's profit. and less power usage!!!

Hi Brandon. I updated to latest Salad version, as I wasn't getting any containers. Updated, rebooted and got a job within an hour. As a server engineer (VMware & HyperV), it's quite interesting to watch how the containers are picked up, big download of a Virtual disk file to the WSL folder, then usually some major RAM\GPU action, but then, for me anyhow, things go quiet but the job is clearly still running, as the VM file is being updated. I guess this means the job is still running.
I got an older i7 system with 32GB RAM and a 4070 with 12GB VRAM but only seeing earnings of up to $1.20 so far.
But, my new MB\CPU\RAM turn up tomorrow - (12th Gen i7, 64 GB DDR4 RAM, ASUS B760Tuf Gaming).

yea some jobs are very light and some are hammering my gpu uptime i think is the trick the better jobs take more uptime to get you on the list to get
I’m also stubborn about staying on Windows 10 lol. Keep fighting the good fight! I feel like by the time I switch to 11 at this point there will be a new OS right behind it.
I was running Nvidia 552.12 / 3060 12gb, updated to 1.5.8 and received the insufficient vmem error. I've now updated the Nvidia driver to 555.99, rebooted and now has a container job.
I had to downgrade all my systems to 1.5.5 to pick up jobs. And it got rid of the WSL issue
i had a job on my 1st rig out of 3 for 2hrs only 3 days ago and now all 3 are just calculating... (2x3060 and 1 3060ti rigs with all 32gb ram system)
Is it worth trying it out in a r5 5600x, rtx 3060ti, 16 gb ram 3200mhz rig?
Upgraded after I noticed hours worth of no jobs ... kicking goals now, all still on the 552.22, mix of W10 and W11, 3090's and 3080ti's ...
I've updated my Nvidia drivers to current. Everything seems to be working fine with that. Updated salad as well. Haven't seen a job yet, so undetermined.

@@brandoncoin Just got a $4.38 job on my 4060ti 16gb with 64gb system ram.
I updated my A4000 rig. It calculated for some hours but now it started back earning $1.45.
I am too scared to do that on the 3080ti rig though.
My 3060 12gb 64 gb ram has had a $1.81 job steady for the past few days. And 3080 ti 12gb 32gb ram has only had 1 job $1.93 and none since.
the 3080ti struggles from the fact that its a more expensive card for customers to rent but is limited to 12gb vram
I just started Salad it was working the other day now it says its working but my pc is not doing anything but still making money.
Hi Brandon I have a question, If I stop chopping for about 2 hours a day and I set it in the schedule for a night does it count as Down time if I just let the rig iddleing online, or it is still going to be counted as reliable mashine ?
Im thinking the quality of the ones internet might play a big factor as well....
I updated and went from no jobs to picking one up immediately on my 4070. Maybe just coincidence but maybe not lol

@@brandoncoin It was a $4 job. However after running for an hour I realized I was getting no pay out for it. This has happened to me multiple times previously as well. I have to stop and restart salad and find another job before it actually starts showing it paying out again. I just wasted an hour making nothing running a job.
It was a $4 job but after an hour I noticed I was getting no payout and chopping for free. This has happened before as well. Keep an eye on your rig. You will need to restart your system before it will start paying out again.
Sir I am one of your great fan since from mining on etherium, presently I have configured my pcs for salad, but yesterday I got afraid at night as my GPUs was running at 100 percentage and on 80+ temperature, not using then msi afterburner, after that as I am afraid of the temperature I ran that on my pc , please tell me about overclock settings for rtx 3060 and 3060 ti as I have both of them, or if you have any videos please give me the link

Staying on 1.5.7 with 555.99 drivers don't wanna lose my container.
There is too much mixed information, either works better in win 10 or 11, task manager open or not, least updated or last updated and all for no jobs and calculating. Glad I didn't go on a spending spree (ram sticks and such) to get no jobs. It helped on my mining earnigs though.
Got a workload on a Gigabyte 3090 waterforce that’s toasting my vram beyond what any mining ever did. Copper modded front and back 3000rpm 90mm fans 2 of them on the backplate and still bouncing off 104c in 70f ambient. 100% core load 93-100% memory controller load and it’s throttling the core down to 750mhz core despite 60c core temp 78c hotspot. I wouldn’t want to run that on my rig either mother of god what is this?
I haven’t seen anyone with this kind of load I just checked and my hottest card was a fe 3090 men was 89c could you message me on discord
@@brandoncoin Finished that job. Next one paid more and ran 1650mhz 65c 100% core load 42% memory controller load 95c. Just a heads up to keep an eye out for those high memory temperatures depending on the work.

most videos i see are one gpu on the rig. Can i throw windows on one of my gpu rigs, stack it with 64GB of RAM and have 8 12GB GPUs available? Is more a good thing in this scenario or not so much?
They only support single gpu right now
Would love to see power draw per system. Have a 4090, and it gets a lower paying container like $1-2 but it's pulling 400w. Mining is off, bandwidth is off.

BC i blame you for my crypto addiction. Started over a year ago after watching an unmineable vid. Anyway now i have 2 salad rigs. Is there anyway to give them worker names like mining to individual earnings? 1 is a 32gb ryzen 1600 with RTX A4000 and other is 7900x with 3060. Even tho thr A4000 has 16gb the 3060 gets more 💲💲

@@brandoncoin No, just MS Edge. Salad worked fine for 2 days and then I had to restart the PC due to a power outage. When it restarted I couldn't do anything else with Salad. For information, Ryzen 9 3900x, 32gb RAM and RTX 3070
