Men today in their mid to late 50s will know that sound instantly and it will transport them to a far greater time in their life than today that's for sure.
We never got the LC in the US. We rode the older air cooled RD's and pined for Yamaha to bring us the LC.😂 In '84, Yamaha gave us the RZ (YPVS). Sweet redemption! I bought an '85 and still have it today. Riding a two stroke keeps me young. The snarl and howl from those pipes never fails to make me smile. Love that Mars Bar paint job!
Wicked Bike !!!!! never had a 250lc had a 125lc 2 of them also 2 350 lc one a Power valve ,, ... all I can say about the RD350LC was it always felt the bike was "pissed off" when you rode it !!!! lol lol
Nice looker, mine had allspeeds k&ns ace bars. Wow the narrow tyres, remember racing around and getting sparks of the pegs when you lent it over. A lot of fun without the need of big bhp.
Unless anyone knows different when I bought my 250 in July 1980 I was told it was the first one registered in England? Also…that sound takes me right back!🥺👍🏻
